Yeah the person could've been blamed and not fired. You don't seem to realize how shitty your situation can be, following the loss of a job. Obviously this person was working so they could live. For a single word, 'pig', not even that offensive, and moreover, possibly set up, losing a job is WAY too much. For Christ's sake, my grandmother while HAVING A HEART ATTACK was insulted (racist callings) and molested by a nurse, and she asked the hospital staff NOT TO FIRE said nurse, once she recovered a bit (happened in front of everyone in the dialysis room, the aggression), for she needed her JOB to LIVE despite being an awful person, and whereas she was gonna be fired for that (legitimately). Peeps need to grow up.

In the US, not so long ago, smoking was promoted to pregnant women to help them "relax", and kids were marketed to with candy (fake) cigarettes..... It's simply 2 different eras in marketing, in 2 different countries, with 2 different goals in mind. One is to make money off of cigarettes, the other is to not have the health care system pay for the repercussions of smoking cigarettes.

Oh well, oh welll...what was an unimportant stupidity ends up being a big case. This whole thing is ridiculous, not the least from the police's side. Let me edit the statement a bit: "What irks me is the absolute and total disrespect of a word written on a cup in a fashion as a preschooler would do to insult an officer who, instead of being home with his family and enjoying a meal and a football game, is patrolling his little town (which is just his job, and he is doing exactly this on his fully paid duty)".

To be accurate a stripper is not a whore, do it would be incorrect and an abuse of the language. It would be nasty to write whore if the person in question was a prostitute, that is an unkind term for someone employed in the field of sex work. But the logic of the article is not mistakable, especially given the input from the daughter. This could go sideways if push comes to shove.
