My mother never slapped us in the face or head. She said it was degrading. Got plenty off butt whipping with anything she could get her hands on. It wasn’t often so I shouldn’t say plenty. Discovered as an adult that she had other forms of abuse that weren’t physical. Pitting sibs against each other, passive aggressive behavior, ghost lighting, etc. I take care of her now. She’s 83 with Parkinson’s. She is so hateful and rude. People say “oh that’s the disease”. No... it’s her with no filter. I still love her and want her comfortable. I just wish she had been a little different.

I gave him a nice fun slap on the butt and he was just FURIOUS and i was so shocked and upset! What did I do wrong?!?!?! It is the tradition to spank a bent over bum! hahaha

I was so shocked when I found out some people (mainly southerners, I think?) put ketchup on hot dogs and mustard on burgers, instead of vice versa, but figured I should try it before calling it disgusting. I still don't like mustard on beef hamburgers, but tomato ketchup goes great on any kind of frankfurters. (I often use chili sauce now, or — like you — both.)
