Yep. Happened to me. Was at the altar when a girl who I thought only ever saw me as a friend stood up and shouted that I was making a mistake and that she was in love with me and had been for ever. Obviously everyone was shocked. I took her outside and she poured her heart out to me and made me realise that I was marrying the wrong girl. Went back inside and called off the wedding and 6 months later got married to the right girl , started a business together and we have 3 amazing kids, insane sex life, money in the bank, 2 holiday homes 5 luxury cars, happiness and a private jet. That’s the fairy tale version. The real story was that no one objected and I left my wife 5 years later after she bankrupted us. No kids, no houses, no cars, no money and no sex life. This might be unpopular but here goes.... The Catholic church. Currently worth 30 billion, the Vatican has 8 billion in assets . In 2014, it was discovered they were hiding 1.1 billion off the books. Why aren't these funds going to the poor? In 2019 it was discovered the Vatican was heavily invested in unreported luxury apartments. Then there's the ugly stuff all this money is financing; Until 2014, the age of consent in Vatican city was 12. Yes. Twelve - the lowest age of consent in the world. It was only changed after the pedophilia scandal took hold. Then there's the wide history of evils brought on by the church; the ivory trade, castration of young boys (castrada), the Spanish Inquisition, Holocaust denial, cutting funding for the poor with LGBQ ties and on and on.... My wife and I had a neighbor who hated us because their family friends who went through a divorce lived there before us, and we bought the house. They were mean to my wife, parked across our driveway when she was about to go to work, threw pieces of wood over our fence, and let their dog cr*p on our lawn without picking it up. I tried talking to them a couple times and was promptly told to f-off. The husband used to brag about his lawn to everyone, so the next time it rained, I threw an entire box of bouillon cubes into their backyard and let the rain melt them into the grass. Their dog absolutely destroyed their yard looking for the smell, and I would make sure to comment on it every chance I got.
