I ‘ get ‘ the message in the comparisons. But not all body shapes, whatever size, can come across as looking like modern models. Because of genetics, my waist is the thickest part of my body. Nope. Most of these dresses would not look so good on me.

Right?? Both girls are lovely but my plus sized bust and plus size tummy are not gonna fit in 85% of those outfits 😅 Double D's and size 18 jeans (US sizing) make clothing shopping a nightmare. Thank goodness hottopic has normal plus sizing for dresses.

It's a good idea, but the majority of plus sized women like me have fat rolls and that would make these clothes look very, very different. These models both have a smooth profile so it still isn't very realistic for most plus sized women.

I understand tipping @ a restaurant although it'd be nice for that to end and waiters get paid decently. Yet, for all these other things? I'm a high school teacher who works incredibly hard, often off the clock, so that my students enjoy learning. When I splurge on Starbucks, it's a vanilla latte, no special requests. I ignore the tip jar. I don't have a tip jar.

I tip good, not cheap. Can also easily tell when a waiter/waitress writes my husband and I off because they assume we are not good tippers, as well. Don't speak about anything much, don't offer anything, don't check in, no refills.. it goes both ways. Servers are not automatically the saints. You can see them treat other patrons with a selling smile and all that. Husband and I just hit our 30s and are rather short.. for reference.

This gets complicated for me. You simply need to be a decent person and have a general understanding of how others are living to tip well BUT, you're not entitled to my money. Not one bit. This and the way those shaming memes and posts are being made about supporting your friend's business. It is just, complicated request. You're not entitled to my money! This is a situation where again, the finger is being pointed at the wrong person and society goes along with it. Such as, blaming the poor for being needy and not thr system implemented. I do not, not believe in tips, it is the entitlement. A lot of us are not well off, a lot of us are struggling so hard.

Read the actual comment. IF you are going to be "nice" and give your money to someone else, why are you giving it to the person behind you in the lineup? Why do they need the money? I might be behind you, and I certainly don't need help paying for my coffee.
