There are millions of hidden gems in Canada. But it takes a bit of research to figure out a travel plan. People think they can take a cross country tour or go to Toronto and then Banff or Vancouver. Those places are thousands of kilometers apart. Western Ontario and into Manitoba is cottage country. People have a good time up north, too. It's super laid back up there. Low, low crime. Every province is rich in culture and it's own traditions.

Canada. Overall, I don't think of Canada as a very travel-friendly place, as it isn't a very common destination, but it is truly beautiful. We have everything from sprawling coniferouis forests, to the prairies, to the Red Creek Fir forests, to tundra, to rock, to anything, really. So maybe next time don't spend all your time in Toronto, or Ottawa, but go somewhere undiscovered. Because that is what Canada is about.

I know. ^^' We had to search for juice without added sugar and when we found one it was expansive and proudly said "no added sugar". And everything was unnecessarely sweet (A friend joked that they were surprised that there isn't sugar in the salt. :P). And than corn syrup. There's this episode of Supernatural, where they can't eat anything with it (for reasons) and had a hard time finding anything without. Though a bit exaggerated it feels like not far from the truth. The thing is, that it's far more common in Europe to cook at home from scratch, to simply use whole food. For example: Today I had grilled salmon with Potato-Cucumber salad, the dressing was yogurt with herbs, a bit of salt and lemon..."skin" (what's the word? xD), some sweetness came from slightly browned onions. It's not expansive, easy to get and make.

Good question, but yes per capita... and by a large amount. For the year 2022, I can find America at 629 prisoners per every 100,000 people. All of the runner-ups are dictatorships... but if you want to compare America to countries that are Full Democracies, then the next in line is Uruguay at 383 then third place for Taiwan at 219, (one THIRD of America's rate). Compared to North America in general, the level of efficiency for just about anything in France is below zero. Between the constant strikes and the incredibly slow processes of any government agency, I don't even know how this country is still standing. Nonetheless, some French people can be fairly welcoming, however their mastery of the English language, compared to most countries in the world, is subpar at best.
