Perfectly healthy two year old daughter laid down happy and healthy to sleep as with every other night. It was her last earthly activity. She never woke the next morning. Autopsy didn't determine a cause of death. There is no scientific explanation as to why she's not here with me today. And that's a type of lack of closure that nearly k***ed me. It is hard to have what your child doesn't. It's hard to be ok with living when your baby isn't. It's nearly impossible to have no explanation for such a significant loss. Unexplainable and unreal. To this day.Canyoufearmenow-good reply

A black bear snuck up on me while I was in my garage and sniffed the back of my neck (I was on my knees putting together a grill). I thought it was my neighbors dog at first and had to do a legit double take when I turned to pet.Mental_wolf1247 reply
Weird one but when I was a teenager I almost died. I was on a cross country team and was running through a forest and suddenly got a cramp which made me stop moving for a second at that exact moment I stopped running a tree landed exactly where I would’ve been. That cramp saved my life.Show All 3 Upvotes

So many things… We invest in each others love languages (mine is words of affirmation and his is quality time together) We have routines that emphasize our commitment (e.g. when we take off our wedding rings to exercise, the other person has to put the ring back on for you; we give each other a big good morning hug every day) We put each other first and always have a unified front in public. It’s us versus the problem; never him versus me We are each other’s safe space. There’s nothing I can’t share with him and vice versa. I’m never ashamed to be vulnerable in front of him because we never weaponize or make fun of those vulnerabilities We continue to date each other. Trivia night, dinner outings, concerts, etc. I dress up for him and vice versa when the occasion warrants it We laugh a lot together. We laugh at the tough situations. We always laugh together when something breaks or doesn’t go our way. Our first reaction is always humor We break down communication barriers quickly when something didn’t go as planned and something went wrong as a result We ALWAYS assume positive intent when confronting the other with an issue We are hugely transparent. Joint calendar, joint email; our phone passwords are the same; no secrets unless we say there’s a surprise being planned then we respect privacy as needed.Show All 5 Upvotes

* Social media pictures giving the bird. Upgrades from "Reject" to "Yeet" if said picture also includes sticking her tongue out. * Yorkshire Terriers. I've never seen one of those useless idiotic little rats that isn't owned by an entitled, incompetent, vapid woman of whatever age or description. They're the must-have accessory for Plastic Princesses. It's like when you see a man getting out of a BMW convertible, wearing a polo short and deck shoes, with a BlueTooth earpiece. The cockometer pegs and turns red. * Trump paraphanalia. * Immaturity, affected idiocy, or both. * Lip filler. * Any mention of DoTerra or other MLMs. Straight into the "Yeet" que. * Poor treatment of waiters/waitresses, or bad tipper. * Jesus fish or religious bumper stickers aren't an instant rejection, but they definitely raise the threat awareness. No issue with Christian ladies, but I expect a person who professes themselves to be a Christian to follow the direct instructions of Christ and not go around announcing it to the world. * Putinskas go straight to the "...out of a cannon. Into the sun." que.Show All 6 Upvotes

I always thought we were just work friends, I knew he was married and he always mentioned his wife with a smile, so I never thought about him in that way (and for a long time I wasn't attracted to him at all). However, we started spending lots of time together due to work and somehow both found in each other what we were missing in our SOs - long and interesting conversations. We ended up confessing our feelings to each other but said that nothing can happen as we are both taken. However, I guess, hormones took over and we started getting physical. I remember feeling extremely guilty after every kiss but also excited, like I am finally alive. I ended it after I went to his apartment and saw pictures of his wife. That's when I finally realized that she is a real person, not just someone from his stories, and I was just disgusted by myself. He still tried to contact me and we met one time after that, but then one interesting thing happened - I found out my SO was cheating. The pain and heartbreak I experienced when I found out (and I am still heartbroken) is something that can not be described. I would have never imagined the pain to be so strong. I immediately cut all ties with the married man, told him to never contact me again and to focus on his marriage and his wife. It still haunts me that, if she would find out, she would be crushed just like I was crushed. I would never want that pain to anyone, and the thought that I may have caused that intense life changing pain to his wife is just disturbing. I still have nightmares of what I have done. Probably will regret that all my life. Jesse • is following a person
