Family Gets Calls From Radio Listeners, Dad Promises Them Cars As Prizes After The Radio Station Refuses To Change The Way They Say Their Number

In grade school we had a private number (unlisted) that was in my room. Apparently it was one number off the number of the school. Every time it would snow, I would get calls asking if school was closed, and of course I would say yes. Or I would get calls telling me some kid would be late or absent, and I would pretend to lookup their name, and then say, ok got it.

When my son was little, the doctor prescribed some enemas to cure some painful constipation. He simply wouldn't let us get them anywhere near him before he would start screaming. He was a big fan of the cartoon Jimmy Neutron. So we asked him...if we get some Jimmy Neutron enemas, would he let us give him one? He thought about it for a minute and said yes. Cue me getting online, printing out the Jimmy Neutron Nickelodeon logo and glueing it to a medicine bottle and putting an enemas inside, and coming back into the bathroom a few minutes later. He wasn't happy, but he did let us use the enemas.

I was headed to an office to install their new Mac. I get there and they take me to an empty room with a new Mac and a new unopened O'Sullivan L shaped desk. Those things are real wood, real big and real heavy. I asked where I should set up the Mac, and she said on the desk. I said who is setting up the desk, and she said you are. I said, well, I'm really an Apple technician, I don't think you want to pay my rate to have me set up office furniture, and she said, well if you don't set it up, I don't know who is. So she gets a bill for 4 hours, 3.5 setting up the desk and 30 minutes setting up the computer.
