This woman is jealous and it's actually really sad that she's upset that her child is forming a loving bond with someone else. You've got someone that loves and cares about your child. That's a good thing and you're turning this into the worker being creepy is what's really concerning. This is jealousy and insecurities at its worst. So much so that you're twisting a normal bond and affection into something negative to make people think something is wrong when it's not. As a mother of 4 kids myself I know other people loving and caring for my kids is something that we should hold dear. Because there are some very awful people in this world. So when a person comes along that wants to treat my child with as much love as I do. I would never deny them that experience and think it's odd when someone else wants to share and show that love as well to my children. This woman really needs to talk with someone who can help her mentally, emotionally, and psychologically. All I can say is her reaction to this is abnormal and not healthy for her child or her.

Live in a small place. Buy (or rent) the smallest, cheapest place in the nicest neighborhood you can afford- especially if you have kids. Always drive your used car into the ground. You can get a gabillion repairs for the same amount most people spend on car payments. Understand that eating out comes from the entertainment budget, NOT the food budget.

Buy good quality clothes, learned basic sewing and hemming to tailor them and look good. I air dry them and they look good for a long time. Sometimes there are great sales on jeans that are too long for my size. I learned to sew a French hem to keep the original hem.
