Brian May
Brian May Any time anyone has a story about what a lovely bloke he is, someone around the room has another one about he's even nicer
Brendan Fraser
Brendan Fraser, dude went through hell both [physically & emotionally from back injuries & being sexually violated] and is finally coming back to Hollywood. Dude is as friendly and humble as he ever was and I wish him the best. Additionally Rick Moranis who was once a big name as the nerdy guy everyone loved ([Even Sexiest Man Alive Ryan Reynolds]. Dude gave it all up to raise his kids after his wife died.
Robin Williams
Robin Williams rip YourMominator added: My old neighbor told me about when she met Robin Williams at a ski resort in Idaho. She was waiting for something and had a cup of hot cocoa in the cafe, when this guy in a white ski suit comes and asks if he and his ski instructor can sit with her, she agrees. They sit down and she realizes who he is. She introduced herself and then she said that he made her laugh for about a half hour. She said that he spilled his own hot cocoa all over himself as well. Funny guy, messy drinker. I sure miss him.
Sir David Attenborough
Sir David Attenborough NormalJoee added: My dad hates him because he made a bet with me that I wouldn’t know the name of the guy narrating the show we were watching. Easy $50 Shiny_Hypno added: This man is trying so hard to make the world a better place and we keep fuc*ing it up for him.
Bob Ross
Bob Ross A_DifferentOpinion added: Literally never heard anyone hate him before, it’s funny to me that he was a drill sergeant before he was painting
Mr. Rogers
Mr. Rogers freedo333 added: I wouldnt even be friends with anyone that hated Mr Rogers. I love Mr Rogers :)
Betty White
Betty White. youreyesmystars added: She and the other three cast members (Bea Arthur, Rue McClanahan, and Estelle Getty) along with Angela Lansbury all deserve the adoration and recognition that they get. I could go on and on about why each specific woman listed on here is just so amazing.
Dolly Parton
Dolly Parton poizyn64 added: And Dolly has an amazing sense of humor and is so approachable and kind. When there was a fire in pigeon forge TN and many were displaced she gave families money for a certain amount of time. It didn’t seem like much per family but in rural TN esp in the residential areas there’s a lot of poverty so prices aren’t as high there. Also she is unafraid to advocate for so many causes and groups. She is a DOLL. She’s part of TN that I’m not ashamed of. She will definitely speak to you if you ever meet her. Love her! I’ve said it already but her humor is the best. Lol.Show All 14 Upvotes

If today is Monday, then the upcoming Saturday is considered “this Saturday” not “next Saturday”. “Next” would be two Saturdays from now. Fight me.

When my brother and I were teenagers, we got onto an argument one day when we were home alone. I was running up to my room to get away from him but by the time I got to my door and started to shut it, he had braced himself against the hallway wall and stuck his foot in my doorway so the door could not be shut all the way. I pushed and pushed until we heard a horrifying crack of a cheap hollow door. The crack was about a foot long. We looked at the clock and realized we had about an hour before my mother got home. They had recently taken a door out of the mud room, so we went to the basement (after writing and signing complete confessions of the incident incase we got caught so one of us couldn't flip it on the other), got that door, thanked sweet baby jesus the hinges were on the right side, and would have gotten away with it if she hadn't come home early. (Cue us looking super guilty holding while forcing a hinge screw in place). We did eventually finish. When she recounted the story to my father that night, he was like, "so wait, they stopped fighting and used teamwork to reinstall the door? I'm not grounding them! That's awesome!"

My 8 year old girl was being bullied by two boys at her school. So she took them both down. Put one in a choke hold (briefly) and the other kid ran. Surprise bi***es, she's being doing Brazilian jujitsu since she was five! Anyway she came home and told me she took both boys out. When I looked at her in astonishment she said "Don't worry though! I did it on the grass and not the concrete!" I was amused and hella impressed. A year later and she is now best friends with one of the boys. :D

My parents always taught me to be affectionate. Kinda weird. But my dad always told me that even though you’re a guy, don’t be like the regular guy that acts all tough and contain everything in. You will be okay if you cry, if you hug, and if you express your love for your buds. Don’t be afraid to express your emotion & affection especially to those who care for you.Show All 3 Upvotes

Hey Pandas, What Behavior Is Considered Normal But It's Actually Weird When You Think About It?
Celebrity culture
Hey Pandas, What Behavior Is Considered Normal But It's Actually Weird When You Think About It?
(US) abundant luxury but scarce necessities: plenty of choices for entertainment, gaming, clothing, travel, etc. beyond your grandparents’ imagination. But… housing at < 1/4 your annual income and cars < 1/2 of it, like the formulas your grandparents lived by? Affordable education and healthcare? All de-normalized. Having nothing in savings and no expectation of being free from debt has been made normal.

Cancel Culture! Even when joking about this, it's an incredibly childish thing to do and normalize, especially when people jump on the bandwagon and attack anyone, especially celebrities for messing up or doing something that even slightly rubs people the wrong way. Everybody makes mistakes, don't harass them for it!

Not speaking up when you see someone acting inappropriately towards another person. This happens all the time. When someone is yelling at the cashier, at the receptionist, making rude comments towards someone who's a minority, or passive-aggressively down a person during a meeting. I remember speaking up and being the only one to do it and not a single soul would do the same. I wish I was a 6'5" man most days where they would more intimidated by me when I speak up for someone.

It should not be normal to pierce a baby's ears. I know that earrings can look really cute, but that is not good enough a reason to penetrate healthy skin of someone to young to agree to it. If a child actively asks to get their ears pierced, it is if course totally ok. But no baby ever asked for this. They don't talk. They're babies.

Forcing kids: "go hug/kiss your grandma/grandpa/aunt" body autonomy level zero. That's what kids are taught from a young age, they have no right to choose who can touch/kiss them, or forced to give away their affection against their own will. :(((((((((((((( NOT NORMAL at all
Hey Pandas, What Behavior Is Considered Normal But It's Actually Weird When You Think About It?
Asking when you’re gonna have a kid! Why is that normal and ok? I’m gonna monumentally change my life because it’s socially acceptable, nay, demanded that you procreate on an already overpopulated planet!!! And when you state you don’t want any, you’re told that you’ll change your mind!!! Or if you’re over 30 as a woman, your body clock is ticking?!?!? Not only from family, but strangers!!! I tell people I simply can’t have them (half true) or that I would eat them if I did… second one is great for family dinners… lol x

Sexualizing literally everything that does not need to be sexualized. Eg, tacos and hotdogs. Let me enjoy my food without losing my appetite due to some unnecessary joke.

Forcing relationships on kids at a young age. I’ve seen shirts made for infants that say “ladies man” and similar stuff on them, and I think it’s disgusting.
