Overthinkers-Share-Unlikely-Scenarios-Came-True
So maybe not quite this, but my little sister: Through a long serious of events, my parents (who where not Foster parents and not looking to adopt) ended up taking care of an infant (who was not at all related to us) whose mother had just died. It was only supposed to be for a few weeks until she could be moved to a more permanent placement. As soon as I found out that my parents had agreed to help watch her temporarily, I knew where this was going, and I had all the initial adoption application paperwork printed out before she ever got to our house. Needles to say my parents were pretty surprised the day they said they were thinking of adopting her, and I handed them a folder of forms and my handwritten notes on how the process worked. (For the record, she has legally been my little sister for 7 years now.)

I'm not sure if it's coincidental or not, but celebrities die after getting their pictures taken with me. First it was Storm Thorgerson. I met him at an art gallery in Chicago and got my picture taken with him. 9 months later, dead. Then it was Carrie Fisher. I met her at Chicago Comic Con and got a photo-op with her. 6 months later, dead. I'm trying to get a photo-op with Donald Trump, if anyone wants to help me test out my potential super power.

They mainly visit London. The U.K. has great seasides like Cornwall, Devon, Dorset etc and British seaside holidays have a unique charm. There’s also Scotland and Wales. The north of England has a lot to offer (castles, The Lake District, history etc). Tourists, don't snub the north. The North remembers.Show All 21 Upvotes
