Next up: Halloween costumes. Because a God knows, you can't be female AND a doctor, nurse, superhero, police officer, pirate, soldier, or apparently, even m-f-ing Pennywise, unless you meet the T & A exposure quota. (Though Slutty Mr. Rogers was the one that caused me to die the most on the inside. That's a crime against humanity, that is.) Also, so many victims of r/whoosh in this comment section... I've heard of mass hysteria, but mass obtuseness is a new one on me.

As a retired engineer/scientist, I got a chuckle out of this article, since it reminded me of all the times in my career, back in the dark ages, of being called a "woman scientist" or "woman engineer", as if I weren't a "real" one. Even worse was the term "girl engineer". Once in a while, I flustered the idiots... at one job, I had submitted a letter of resignation because I was taking a better position I'd been offered. At my exit interview, one male executive of the company I was leaving said to me, "Well, you're a lot smarter than most girl engineers". (I was 32 at the time). Without missing a beat, I replied, "I'm a lot smarter than most boy engineers, too!"

Well, if you wind up stuck a glass shower like this one, and you've been there for hours because in a hotel shower, no one can hear you scream, unscrew the shower head and use that sucker to break the glass. 🚿👍 Alternatively, if there happens to be nothing in the shower that can safely be used to break glass, imho, the safest way to do it then would be to kick it hard using the soles of your feet. (Pretending you're a ninja and hollering "HI YAH!!!" whilst doing so is optional.) 💥👣💥 As someone who is hella claustrophobic, this is my *(second) worst nightmare. So, believe me, I have contingency plans upon contingency plans for every possible "Help! I'm stuck and I can't get out!" scenario. 😛 *(1st place goes to elevators. In a shower, the space may be tight, but at least you can be reasonably certain you're not going to plummet 50 stories to your death.😱)

Y'all should change your name to Buzzkill Pacific. >.< P.S. - lived next to railroad tracks most of my life; safer to walk on them than it is to walk down the sidewalk these days, and perhaps this region-specific, but I ain't EVER, in 25 years, been snuck up on by a friggin' locomotive. Oh, and I too, happen to reside in Mississippi. Unfortunately. It is nice to see this state being portrayed in a positive light by this talented photog and his creepy-yet-strangely-adorable little bro. Mississippi, for a myriad of reasons, most of which you can probably surmise, typically only makes a blip on the internet's radar screen for happenings that make rural Florida look like Valhalla. Yay us.

I also agree that many systems of belief are flawed, but Islam is the absolute most flawed. Radical Islam needs to be outlawed and phased out permanently.
