Did something similar but with a clue.. Spicy (USA) Chili and Graham crackers instead of saltines. Its incredibly good despite the weird looks i get for it. Salty, Spicy, a hint of Sweet!

What?! we have the best care in any capitalist, 2 party system you can find. Its not like free healthcare is a thing that is doable or works. (Add in that getting medically disabled means 2 years without healthcare until you are put on Medicare) Then pay more for that with supplemental than your regular Insurance. Mind you if you manage to save a little money , less than a decent PC worth- you lose it all, or if you SO gets a good raise- you lose. INS. only pays for mobilty aids if its needed in the house, it doesn't pay for them if being able to walk out into the sun or if fresh air is the goal. You don;t need to leave the house or your room according to them. The Reality of Breast Cancer as one small example for my part. (Lets not forget $$$$ in ambulances for 3 short trips that were not complex. $$$$s each year over ins. i need just to stay alive let alone live a life. If it was not for the genuine luck we had in friends we would have issue with food & a roof vs my expiration

whaaaaa, she did that?! I'm kiwi and would not dream of getting a moko or traditional tatt because I'm totally pakeha (white, dad is from uk), and it would feel like cultural appropriation. I found a big chunk of pounamu (greenstone) when gardening last year, clearly a river rock and quite stunning. Emailed the local iwi immediately to ask how to return it to then (they met and decided it should stay with me 😊 an honour)

The how its was made: costume videos out there are very much worth a watch if thats an interest of yours. The work that went into the production is fascinating. If you want a low key slow watch scif movie thats worth the story, checck out an older one, "Enemy Mine" Otherwise a strange scifi movie not related to the content the title implies. As if Mel Gibson and scientology teamed up for a movie.

Not saying this to disagree about the heels just an different situation. I had the pleasure years ago to work with a great actress who excelled at sword combat. She loved doing her fights, including some stunt work, in heels. She was scary in 3in heels lol. It was the chaffing with sequins in soft spot that personally makes me squeeze my nether area together in fear.

In the US we are bullied to give notice but a lot of companies will fire you and leave you jobless till your new one starts. I tried to balance things the last time this happened. Current job was as a dishwasher $8hour and gave 1 week notice to move to a job in my chosen field $15hr + over time (10-20hours a week) every month or so. Old boss was pissed I didn't stay 2 weeks and cut me from a tip share we did every two weeks ($8-20). In the 35+ years I have worked in the US no employer have reciprocated the respect to two week notice. Unless forced to by a Contract rather than the normal here which involves a basic HR form saying what company is hiring you, & base pay.

Oh bonus comment! I was pregnant at the DMV and no one would give me a seat (120 degrees in July and I’m like 8 months and have hyperemesis) and so I was leaning against a rail in line to renew my license since I needed it to leave the hospital since my POS ex wasn’t driving me home after I delivered and just in case my mom couldn’t, and some loser sitting down tells me I’m a selfish, hateful woman for having anorexia while pregnant and not giving my baby what it needs. I am more than proud to say I looked at him and threw up all over the floor between us and on his pants and shoes before crying to apologize for the vomit, and the DMV workers rushed to my aid, cleaned me up, took my photo, and sat me in an air conditioned testing room to wait for my papers.
