Someone Online Asked “What's Your ‘If I'm Going Down I'm Taking You With Me’ Story?”, And 35 Folks Delivered

I had a science teacher that would fail me on every test, my bestie would cheat off me and get an A...no one believed me, but I kept every homework assignment, every project, and every test......the next year my sister get him and the first day he told her there was no way she was going to pass because of me so she might as well not even come to class, my parents believed her....we took the entire year of work to the school board had it all regraded , I went from a 16% F to a 97% A....he got to retire early

A surprising number of big-budget US films get funding from various branches of the military to portray them as good guys and peacekeepers. In exchange they get extensive creative control over the script and in some cases final cut privileges. The filmmakers get access to money, shooting locations, vehicles, advisors, logos and uniforms, and of course money. You could argue that of course if you were offering this kind of support you wouldn’t want your image to be disparaged in any way. But we’re not talking about Captain America holding a can of Coke. Imagine it as product placement, but the product they’re selling isn’t the military itself, but the thematic connection between the military and heroism, righteousness and moral good.

I thought the maintenance men had poisoned the a/c.....it was over 100° outside I turned the a/c off and hid behind the couch up against a wall with a blanket over my son and I, luckily my brother showed up later and got us both to the ER, 3 days in a psych hold, new meds, and new understanding of what was going on, moved in with my parents for a month until my mom knew I could be trusted, and now my son is 16y.o......thankfully I had good doctors that understood what was going on and helped me.

Now hold up.!!!!!! I'm from Arkansas my mama is from Texas and my grandma was from Tennessee, and every bbq, family gathering, neighborhood block party, ect I've been to is feed the kids first! Get them out of the way, then yes we fed the hubbies next but it wasn't servitude it's because we know they'll pile their plates high with a bunch of the best food, and there won't be enough to go around, so we actually treat them more like children than grown ups by making their plates for them. And as an added bonus it keeps them out of our kitchens!

My parents got married in the late 1960's, and my mother began running the office side of his (their) business. Early on, she asked what her monthly allowance would be. He looked at her like she was crazy and said "we're partners, the money is ours, spend what you need to". They drove each other crazy and loved each other fiercely for over 40 years. It was a great marriage..
