I wonder how they want to handle his habits when he starts to go to a school. He can't expect everyone at the cafeteria of a special needs school (for example) to switch forks with him.

They should have warned the guest and given him 2 forks so he used the one and swapped with the other. If the kid is busy eating it would not require much sleight of hand. Also, this is learned behaviour and can be changed, obviously they enticed him to eat when very young this way. Parents fault for not evolving the learning into something more hygienic and socially workable over time, they got lazy when they hit something that worked not caring or thinking of long term consequences as he grew older.

One thing some folks might not be aware of is depending on the laws where you live, if you don't make the fence right you can lose your legal right to the property. I forget exact details but where I live if a fence encroaches on your property but you let it stand and the fence is maintained for X number of years, the adjacent land owner with the wrongly placed fence can claim the extra land. (I THINK I'm remembering that correctly.) There is also a related one about giving right of access. My stepdad ran into that on the corner of some of his farm land. Let neighbor extend his fence a bit to use as driveway due to wet ground other places. Guy dies, son inherits and claims it is his land. 1/2 and 1/2 in court. Court agreed it was my dad's land but said he still had to let the son drive through it.

You know, I always wanted long thick beautiful hair. I got baby fine hair that flattens out really easily instead (lots of individual strands, though, if they weren’t baby fine I would have thick hair). Do I retaliate against all the girls with thick beautiful hair? NO. I just work on my hair to get it to be as healthy and full looking as possible. Like most of us when it comes to stuff like that. Not everyone has a full set of perfect features, so there’s always something you have to work on, so you play up the good and play down the not so good (in your opinion). The last thing on your mind should be hurting someone else just because nature gave them what you wish you had. What you don’t realize is that they probably think the same about you and whatever nature gave you that they wish they had. Lighten up. Looks aren’t everything. We’re all going to grow old and wrinkled anyway, so quit obsessing with the outside and start concentrating on the inside.

It definitely seems like an attack to cause OP some deep personal trauma, yet she didn't mind OP's mother becoming a victim of circumstance as well. It's an incredibly cruel and calculated method of injury that the person was hoping to inflict upon OP. She hoped to cause maximum damage to OP with lasting physical and mental pain that she'd experience frequently throughout her every waking moments for an extensive period of time. Her behavior is disturbing and very concerning, especially if OP can't think of any slight or offense to this person. I seriously hope that the police get to the bottom of it, not only for the attempted attack on OP but to be aware of real potential to harm others. This person needs to have a eye kept on them as well as some mental health care for their possible irrational thoughts and behaviors. I hope they both get the help they need.
