Last night we were on our way to get our rescue cat from our granddaughter's. We had also adopted a rescue cat for her since she wanted one. We thought maybe they could get along, if introduced properly. Anyway, it wasn't happening so we went to pick our cat up. The dude driving in front of us HAD HIS DAMN CELL PHONE STUCK TO THE WINDSHIELD right in front of him, so he could NOT see ANYTHING ELSE but his phone. He was everywhere on the road except his lane. Too bad we don't want cops on the road anymore, eh?

I worked with a guy who really liked to talk. Nothing was sweeter to his ears than the sound of his own voice. He once started telling me about changing a motor in his car, and, just as an experiment, I just let him drone on for TWO HOURS!! I did not say a word, except for the occasional, "Uh huh", or "Oh really". After the 2 hours I put up my hands to stop him and said, "Ron, do you not see the blood running out of my ears?!? You have not shut your mouth for over TWO HOURS! WTF is wrong with you?!?" He kinda laughed & shrugged his shoulders and said, "Well, between my wife and daughter, I usually don't get to talk much at home."

However, in, say, Roman Times, becoming a slave was not unusual, as the person becoming the slave entered into an agreement, ON PURPOSE in order to pay off debts. The "slave" was not misused, and actually could end up running an Owner's business, live very well, while paying off his own debt. Throwing the word, Slave" around, does a severe disservice to what the word actually means. After all, isn't EVERYONE who holds a job a SLAVE?

No, the vehicle does not change the angle. Worked at GM for almost 46 years and actually worked on the machines that set the lens heights. The heights are Federally mandated and are computer controlled when adjusting the height in the factory. I believe you may be thinking of some vehicles that can change the left/right angle of the headlights when steering around corners. The Tucker cars had that center light that did that, also Buick Enclaves, for example, did that for a few years before GM realized the gimmick wasn't worth the money.

This was a really fun place for us, and the "re-creation" of the Gunfight was a great way to spend some time. Very entertaining! Reading the plaques around the town to get some more history was fun as well. Of course it's a "tourist trap", how else would they survive?

Sedona is an awesome place to visit! Use it as a "base-place" to visit other places like Meteor Crater, Grand Canyon, Winslow (The Eagle's song). The red rock formations are awesome, and there are also many beautiful things/excursions to see in the area.

One thing I do love about downtown Myrtle Beach is it has many mid century hotels still in business and still looking very mid century. It's worth driving through just to see them.

Here's the trick with cruises. You can see enough of the place to know if you want to go back. I've been to a lot of the Caribbean and some islands there isn't much to do. Some there's tons to do. The cruise is a very convenient way to island hop. Go back to the ones you really liked and stay longer.
