Guys I'm Egyptian , we are not even allowed 2 have a drone , we must have an approve from government and they will say no anyways lol , but Egypt is an experience every body must have , I'm not saying that because it's my country, I'm saying that because it's amazing ,and we are super friendly ppl , give it a shot and i promise you won't regret it .

It’s important to have perspective. As Rick Steves says, “you can find these people annoying or entertaining, based on your attitude”

I just got back - the merchants are no longer there. They’re in other places, but not the Great Pyramids. Also, if you’re asking a guard to take a photo of you I feel it is courteous and right to give a tip. Their culture is entirely based on that, plus you’re asking him to do an extra service that is not his job. We’re expected to give cashiers tips at Starbucks here for crying out loud. Also because of their terrible economy and extreme poverty it will probably cost you at most a quarter.

Went 2019 and fell in love. We visited Cairo and from there to Sinai peninsula. Climbed Mr.Sinai, Dahab was amazing and the Blue Hole, we also stayed in a beach camp and slept under the stars. Awesome people, in the countryside we were hitchhiking.

I've lived in sunny places in Europe since 2017, Malta and Spain. Also lived on the road for some time across Europe and I've noticed that it's mostly locals in places that live from tourism that state this, as per my opinion, unintelligent statement. Each spring the complain about tourists start but on covid years these same people were complaining when their businesses didn't go well/went bankrupt due to traveling restrictions. As mentioned I'm also a resident but I've never been bothered by tourism, quite the opposite. That 1-2 weeks can be the best and long waited period of the year, that only holiday that for people saved money from small incomes. Let's allow these people to enjoy and expect same respect when we travel😊 Best regards from Madrid airport💜🌴☀️🛫
