This one is totally plausible, and I tend to find a lot of these fake sounding, or heavily 'rewritten'. The ones that come across as fake *read* like a fairy tale as well as have unrealistic sounding scenarios. The only thing I don't get is how OP can even think she's an AH, she has every right to not expect to have to look after a multitude of children when she only offered to help with two of her choice for a very kind reason.

I get how they didn’t see them type, but how didn’t they see them read the answers, and hear they were reading? Very few people don’t sound like they’re reading aloud when they’re reading something for the first time. So they just read them out loud, naturally, without moving their eyes? And most importantly, did they not check references? Being a bank I’d highly doubt they wouldn’t have checked, they’re very security conscious for obvious reasons, even for non money handling roles. I call fake.

Why do people always say that it’s the woman’s choice because she is the one giving birth ? The baby is 50% his. If they weren’t a couple I might perhaps think differently but telling her husband that he can’t see his own child being born but her mother can just seems mean. Is her mother going to be there when their child is crying in the middle of the night for a feed or nappy change? Is she going to pay for food, clothing, heating? No. He will be expected to do half of the child rearing, not her mother.

Recruiters don't even read profiles man, they just send out applications to hundreds and then look into the people the reply. At which point they realise they've asked people that don't have what's needed to fill the job role. Ridiculous.

I just never had a desire for it. I knew when I was seven years old that I didn't want to be a mom, it just filled me with a feeling of dread. Didn't need to articulate why, I just didn't want it. As an adult, I can point out a few things like my preferred lifestyle doesn't include kids, I wouldn't want to give up my career, and that the very concept of pregnancy and child birth is horrifying to me. I'm glad other women are capable of it, but I absolutely am not. And I got sterilized right before I turned 30, so I can live my life with one less worry.
