Badass Geologist Gets Revenge On Drunk Neighbour Who Blocks Her Car With Boulder

Our town had a noise ordinance that went from 10pm to 6am. We lived in apartments just off of campus grounds so the majority of tenants were students. My next door neighbors had a friend staying with them that would blast her stereo every afternoon while she cleaned the house. And we're talking death metal style music. Since she wasn't violating the noise ordinance the police wouldn't help. I pleaded with the neighbors to talk to her which resulted in the volume going up. Problem was, she turned it up enough to get the attention of the manager who had also received complaints from other neighbors. The manager left a notice on their door. The friend was trespassed from the apartment complex and, if the tenants failed to comply with making her leave, eviction proceedings would begin because they were in violation of their lease agreement for allowing someone to stay with them for more than 3 weeks without signing the lease. Boy it was peaceful after that.

Yes! Those texts were agonizing. No way I would have waited that long no matter how long I had known that dude. Why all the training for what she considers an "outside" dog? I despise outside dog owners.

This is such a strange story.. I mean, is that a normal thing to send dogs on 'boarding school' training? Surely you're not fit to be an owner if you cant give you dog basic training. Plus, training works a lot better if it is the actual owner administering it or at the very least the owner is there along side the trainer. I am not saying Hunter isn't in the wrong but I feel as if there was stupidity from both ends on this story! I could not go 4 weeks without seeing my doggo, let alone 10 weeks. I am heartbroken for Ollie and I hope the owner finds justice, however this to me is just like lazy, rich parents that send their children to boarding schools to be taught, so they don't have to do anything themselves. If you haven't got the time to train a dog, don't buy one. Sorry.

Sorry but how the hell could someone let what was supposed to be a 4 week "course" allow it to get to 11 weeks before thinking about taking action? I would have been there 1 day after the 4 weeks to at least see what was going on.

After four weeks and the first excuse, I would have turned up in person and caused so much problems they would have been calling the police. I feel very sorry for the family; but I don't know why she waited for so long without doing something.

I had the same thoughts. She acted like a bully not someone afraid of an invader. To get into an elevator alone with someone who you believed was a threat is the ultimate foolishness, thus one could surmise that she was stupid on all accounts. Makes me sick. Racism isn't just in the person, but starts with the family and upbringing. To stop it, we need to ensure as parents we aren't teaching it at home. I see racism blacks against whites, native American against white, as much as whites against other races. We all need to do our part. Pat on his back for keeping his patience and not reacting. Not sure I could have done that.

I went to visit my parents at their nursing home on a bright sunny Saturday morning. A middle aged white woman came to me while I was waiting in the lobby and asked if I knew the African American teen aged boy over there. Nope. "Well, he's just waiting here." So am I. (also a white middle aged woman0 "I'm uncomfortable. I didn't want to come in." I'm sure he's here to visit someone. "Well, I work downtown, so I know. You have to be careful." You have to get away from me. Take your crazy over there. We are not together. She went to find a staff member, who, at the time was busy directing this kid to where he could do his volunteer hours and made her wait. My sister came in and the woman tried to tell her the same crap about being "scared to come in because she works downtown." My sister told her to kick rocks. I'm sure the lady spent the next five days bragging about her hyper alert sensibilities.

It rather depends on the job she had - if she was customer facing in my company I'd not want her dealing with the public. How do I know she's not going to suddenly decide that some person doesn't have the right to be there or using a service my company provides? As people tracked her down (that I'm uncomfortable with) then it may have caused the company that employed her significant problems and they shouldn't have to put up with that just because she's racist.

Who does she think she is? She's not security. No-one has to answer to her for coming into a building even if they don't live there. His patience is remarkable. Mine would not have been. I'd like to add to this as well. When these things happen to children, people still don't always believe their children. Let's pretend it happened to our child for a moment, however. Many of us will fight to the death for our children (I wish I could say most of us, but we all know how untrue that is, unfortunately). We go, and we fight, and it goes to trial. The guy says, "I didn't do it!" Okay, but that doesn't help me as a parent, because my kid says it happened. There's no proof, because kids don't come forward right away all the time. They don't realize the should, and they're afraid they'll get in trouble. We all know what no proof means-you can't convict. So what's the answer here? Ignore the kid, say sorry there's no proof and move on? Convict anyway without proof, even though there is a "possibility" he didn't really do anything? This is tough because we don't want to think about this happening to our kids. I assure you, it does. What is the answer? We need to figure it out.

I once had to explain to a male acquaintance that rape hurts even fi you don't fight back and get punched. He was utterly clueless tha a penis could harm a vagina.
