I'd add Alex Zanardi. Multiple time paralympic cycling gold medalist, touring car and CART race winner, a living legend for many people. Met him a couple of years ago and he was the nicest, most down to earth and respectable celebrity I ever met. A huge crowd flocked around him, but he patiently gave everyone autographs, took photos and exhchanged a few words with everybody, for hours. He has such a charisma I didnt encountered any other yet.

Prostitution is legalized in the Netherlands just to be able to create a system of regular medical checks, to have some sort of control over the women who work in this industry. Are they doing it out of their free will, are they old enough, are there people profiting from her. By legalizing prostitution you also take away another source of income for criminals. Another major advantage: We have far less sex crimes than the USA because of the prostitution.

At my college (not in murica obviously) all the needed books were available in the uni library for free. Actually it's mandatory for them to provide every possible source, also the related scientific magazinesm including a cross-library system. If they don't have the book/paper you need, they'll get it shipped from somewhere else. For free.

As a kid there was a janitor at my school named Memphis. He was so so sweet. He gave me a stuffed little bear one day, my grandmother who was a true bigot threw it away immediately. My dad left us when I was 9 months old and Memphis was an awesome father figure. Always asked if my homework was done, if I was sad he'd cheer me up, he had a great sense of humor. He was black I was white but he taught me at a very early age its what's inside that is important. I continued to be friends with him all 8 years I was at that school in spite of my grandmother, I loved my grandmom too, but I would never trade what my janitor gave me for anything. He made me a better person.
