I am a 24-year-old photographer from Croatia, currently based in Munich.

With the endeavor to fulfill my childhood dream of photographing the Northern Lights, in January 2015 I traveled to the Arctic Circle in Finnish Lapland to a culture where tradition and folklore are keenly nested in the veins of the people. Initially expecting an arctic adventure, my trip developed into a cultural experience, which enriched my appreciation for the tradition, heritage and lifestyle of the Finnish people, ranging from spacious igloos and forested flatlands, char smoked fish and reindeer farms, to bonfires and scorching saunas.

Here are my photographs of the Northern Lights and the nature of Finland, as captured in the Urho Kekkonen National Park.
