Woman Asked Housemate To Look After Her Plants Whilst She’s Away For A Couple Weeks And Got These
When Lauren French from London booked a trip over the Atlantic, she started looking for someone who could look after her plants. Jack, her housemate, was the perfect candidate. He’s funny, thoughtful; everything you’d want in a person who’s caring for your plants. And, just days later, Jack sent Lauren a set of pictures, hilariously showing that he’s not cutting any corners.

“There’s 4 of us who live together,” Lauren told Bored Panda. “I and the other 2 have lived together for 5 years. I’ve known Jack for a few years but he only moved in a couple of months ago. Obviously a wise choice!”
“Jack’s the best,” Lauren said. “He’s always doing really funny, witty things like this and is always making us laugh. He is just the most wholesome person ever. Our morning schedules are similar so if I’m in the shower when he wakes up, he’ll leave a cup of coffee by my room for when I get out. We love him so much.”
Lauren has 5 plants in her room, and Jack made sure they get the attention they deserve. Laura got his photos 3 days after she left, and she absolutely loved them. “I flew to New York on Friday morning. I got a WhatsApp message Friday PM from him saying he’s looking after the plants like I asked (I asked him because our other two housemates are in Canada at the moment and he’s the only one at home) and yeah, I was howling. What a legend.”
This is the first time Jack is plant-sitting for Lauren, and, by the looks of it, it probably isn’t his last!
People immediately fell in love with Jack’s dedication

He's playing Magic the Gathering with it. It depends on how good the plant is at building a deck.

I think the plant looks overly watered, not under watered. When leaves turn yellow it's often because the soil is saturated and the roots get no air.
To me it looks more like nitrogen deficiency and under watering.

Cute pics, but as others have pointed out, that is not a happy plant. Drooping = not enough water, and yellow leaves = too much water, so what the hell is going here?

So am I the only one worried about the fact that he's reading them The Necrenomicon???? We have all (unfortunately) seen The Happening and if he starts giving them MORE info those plants are gonna be the first ones to rise up against us.... oooohhhh maybe that's y he's not watering them!!!! Whew I feel better now
Peace Lillie’s are fickle. It’s a thin line between over and under water. You can’t water every day. I took one home from my father in laws funeral. Had cats so I kept it on my desk at work. I was. CSR so I was always talking in a pleasant voice near it. It thrived for a few tears until I quit that job and gave it to my mom. RIP. Oh the irony
Haha, the poor plant looked progressively worse in every shot :D He's an awesome guy, there's no doubt about that. But I don't think he knows much about plants :D :D
