Ya. A few of these look okay but most are creepy. I'm not sure if most have older lighting, shaders, and modeling technique. Most likely it's not in chronological order when they created these but you can tell the unsuccessful ones.

Or maybe this artist's name is big & that goes in to the cost. I know that in demand artists often have to prioritize which projects they spend their time on by setting a higher price point.

Eep! A friend of mine said she paid $5 to get mine done a few years ago, and it was amazing. I'd definitely be willing to pay a lot more for good work, but I think I'd have to see how the artist performed the work in order to justify $252. If I know that the process is laborious I can appreciate it more.

I'm sure you will... meanwhile I'm here with my expensive life long studies, a family to take care of, a recently broken 3D studio because agencies and clients want me to take off my pants and give them the same ridiculous prices in an industry that's already vicious enough. It's a tendency that is making studios and many artist close. I'm trans and can't get support, I'm alone and nothing changes, I'm depressed, I give up. See you never.

@Cassiel Magem Oh no! It sounds like you have A TON of pressure on your shoulders. I know how overwhelming freelance art can be and especially 3D and SFX are the most cruel when it comes to prices, it's so ridiculous. The harmful backlash against transpeople recently probably isn't helping either (even this usually cute site had it's fair share of incredible ignorance and hate.). Cassiel please know that you absolutley deserve support and help, just like everyone else. If you are down, exhausted and alone, I absolutley urge you to at least call a hotline. @Eve Simmons The artist writes that he is avoiding badly mannered clients, questionable content (sexual things, drunk people, crimes...) and things he doesn't have a mesh for, like exotic animals or babies. He does however make a big effort to get differently structured hair right (it's in the making off on the FB page). I doubt that he would avoid black people.
