This is Heidi Annalise, an American who left her government job in Washington and returned to her home state of Colorado with an unusual plan: to create landscape paintings on tiny canvases, more precisely, inside bullet boxes .
She says she was attracted to the idea of having this kind of portable studio by knowing the work of artists using the same kind of support. “When your paintings are so small, you do not have to worry about dragging any material around,” he writes on his blog. “And the can also doubles as storage space for the inks you’re going to use.”
To make the result even more curious, Heidi positions his miniature pictures on the real areas in which they were inspired. Then shoot each one of them and put the images on Instagram.
