Became incredible rich after his death???? Once you die, that's it. You don't become anything. He only sold one painting, died poor, and his paintings are with millions now. The question is really stupid.

Bernini didn't "create" the Baroque, there were already baroque artists before him , he just happened to be the highlight of the Italian baroque because of his skills. Rubens, for example, came way before him and is considered to be a baroque artist already, even though he wasn't even Italian, but the style was born in Italy.
