Artist Arranges Everyday Objects To Make Perfect-Looking Art Pieces, And Here Are 80 Of The Best Ones
Kristen Meyer is an American designer based in New Haven, Connecticut. Kristen’s portfolio is filled with images that blend everyday objects with unusual geometric precision. Circles, squares, triangles, etc. are just the beginning when it comes to Kristen’s work. Her creativity knows no bounds and all of this is done to create photographs that seem to play with our eyes.
When asked about her work, this is what Kristen told in an interview: “As far as how I find materials to experiment with, it varies a lot… I generally work with what I can find around the house, inside or out. It begins as a scavenger hunt of sorts, and then a challenge as I begin to build.”

Mos-EGG-ic ahahaha I’m so funny 😆 (I bet you TOTALLY didn’t know this but…. I’m not funny)
But it's a photo! It's beautiful, but how did she get so many insects to hold position?

This one makes me very happy...I have a small collection of interesting keys
Make it out of cucumber and it's art, but make it out of holes and suddenly it's tripophobia
To my eyes, little bit of accordion paper is the most fascinating part of this collage
The little circles punched out of the leaves are fascinating...especially the one on the top right that has the single hole-punch and is all by itself
She must have treated that dandelion with some sort of fixative, but even then I can’t figure out how she was able to lay it out without bursting it.
The comments people left above are obnoxious. Your work is very unique and fun. Looks like It takes a LOT of time and patience to perfect it all. Really nice work.
I am astounded by your beauty and creativity, just blown away. Can any of this be our hazed as posters or something?
These are so satisfying to look at. It's too perfect. And somewhat disturbing.
Now you need to use clay of some sort, and turn these into permanent works. Gorgeous!
Great suggestion! I'd love to have many of them on my walls!
Load More Replies...I love the use of empty/negative space. It makes as much of a statement as the items themselves.
