This Dad Started Drawing On His Kids’ Lunch Bags 5 Years Ago And Even Obama Loved Them
Lynell Jinks, 42, is a creative dad who recently went viral after former USA President Barak Obama shared one of his realistic artworks on father's day. What kind of unique art does Lynell do you ask? Well, he draws on bags.
His kids' lunch bags, to be exact. It all started about five years ago when his son, Izaac, now 11-year-old, went on a field trip. "My wife said I should draw his name on the bag. I drew Iron Man but instead wrote Izaac Man," he said.
Lynell shared, that his daughter Zelina, 12, was quite shy at school, so he figured that he could help her out by doing some cool drawings on her bag too. "I drew Monster High on her bag as an ice breaker and conversation starter."
Now it became a tradition and his kids appreciate the realistic drawings of famous characters and the motivational messages that the dad writes on the bags and have kept all of them.
Take a look at the collection of very artistic lunch bags below and vote for the beautiful drawings you'd like to see on your lunch bag.

I hardly ever have time to pack a lunch, let alone turn it into a friggin price of art
These are beautiful drawings, all of them. I really feel as if he captured the spirit of the Obamas in these pictures. Great job!
Adorable! The Lady and the Tramp is a personal favourite of mine, for this reason! Two dogs, falling in love... it's just so... ✨
MJ had a patent for those shoes so he could lean out at a 45 degree angle without using wires. pretty cool
Alexander Hamilton! My name is Alexander Hamilton. And there's a million things I haven't done, but just you wait, just you wait...
I love the notes of congratuation at the end of each school year. What an involved family these kids must have! So nice to see positive things for a change. Life has really become a downer and it's great to see this example of positive parenting.
I just loved Wednesday Addams growing up. She was my fantasy girlfriend when I was 8
You bolted to the ceiling which now has to be washed and sterilized; so you get Nothing!
Although the idea is cute, I find this a bit odd since they are brother and sister, and Beast Boy and Raven like eachother more than friends...
Amazing work. I love he mixes in the cartoons and movies he grew up with while incorporating current pop culture. The Father's Day Obama was phenomenal. Don't stop. Unstoppable talent.
These are amazing, and I could only imagine the time it takes to do each one.
I'm so happy that he was able to be a dad and entertain his kids by doing what he loves.
These are not used, they would be crumbled at the top, I wonder what they look like after they were used? Did they actually get used?
Yes, the tops couldn't be folded down without ruining the image, I noticed that too. Maybe the whole deal is just a gimmick and they were never used by the kids at all.
Load More Replies...I hope the kids also appreciate his drawings and not throw them away after the day.
These are flipping phenomenal. Some of them almost look as if they could step out of the picture. And the way he has captured the essence of the characters with their expressions is just beautiful.
wow - now i feel like i was a bad mother for not drawing on my kids lunch bags!
WOW!!! I hope the kids saved every one of these!! Man I'd be framing them & hanging them up!
one question though. will he take some outsider requests? if so, how to get to him?
these look really great! and so many of them reference movies and TV shows I love
He would make a lot of money as a tattoo artist! He is so talented! (I only said tattoo artist because my husband is a tattoo artist and we own a tattoo shop, so tattoos are always on my mind, lol. He would also make tons of money as a regular artist as well!!)
Once more Panda has ruined what little self esteem I had. I used to think I was great for occasionally dropping an extra cookie in.
