Anti-vaxxer conspiracies have continued to spread, and because of their beliefs - so have the measles. Oregon and Washington are among eighteen states that allow families to opt-out of vaccines for viral diseases based on philosophical beliefs, which is why these areas have been the most recent hotbed for the measles outbreak. More than 50 people have been infected across Southwest Washington state and Northwest Oregon - and everyone is fed up with the anti-vaccination science deniers.

"It's an outbreak because generally, the way we define an outbreak is when you have more observed cases than expected cases. And generally with measles, the expected number is zero," Dr. Alan Melnick with Clark County Public Health told KOIN6 TV in Portland, Oregon, last week. "You know, we have a very effective vaccine for measles. Two shots are 97 percent effective. So we really shouldn't be seeing measles." Scroll down below to read some of the best comebacks to anti-vaxxers on the internet, and don't forget to upvote your favs! If you have your own funny comeback prepared - share it with us in the comment section!

This one I fully concure with. I'm autistic to and not an idiot. During my life I've been headhunted by companies, worked around the world, studied years at university, experienced things few have, been in love , had my heart broken, etc. Yet theese idiots seem to think that I would be better of dead than live my life.

An argument for not vaccinating kids is that it's more natural and therefore healthier- well this user points out that humans created vaccines for a reason.

That's most likely the saddest post that I readed lately. In some countries, parents are fighting to vaccinate their children, while we do NOT want to vaccinate them because of some conspiracy theories. That's just plain stupid.

Sickos who mutilate their son's genitals are absolutely, 100% NO different than the sickos who force female genital mutilation on their girls!! Sadistic practices should be outlawed and the parents chopping up their babies should be sterilized and thrown in prison!!

I reckon if you asked an 8 year old if they would have an injection that could stop them getting a terrible illness that could kill them but has a small risk involved they would be smart enough to get the vaccine.

Depends on (1) how smart the kid is, and (2) what you tell them about the vaccine.

As we could see in the other story where a mom got mad that her son got vaccinated without her consent: I do not think that this parent (or any other antivaxxer) would be ok with vaccinating their children, if they would want it.

Vaccines are a personal choice. The COVID vaccine is dangerous. We all have the right to choose whether or not to be vaccinated. This is a site that denigrates people who choose NOT to be vaccinated. The site fails to mention that the COVID vaccine has killed an estimated 300,000 people so far. They also fail to mention the millions who are permanently disabled by the COVID vaccine.

When I was 8 years old, they gave me vaccines for a few diseases. I was told what they were and that they would help me not get whooping cough. I knew a family that had a baby with whooping cough and it was horrible. So I wanted the vaccine, even if it hurt for a moment.

Parents whose thought processes are stunted at eight years old by still believing in vaxxinations really ought to look at what they are doing. We breathe in 28,000 viruses a day without getting a single flu or other viral condition. I've done it for 40 years with a few mild colds as the only exceptions. I HUG PEOPLE who have the flu and don't 'catch' it! Our cells repel the flu bugs and other viruses 28,000 times a day!
