Whether or not to vaccinate your children has continued to be a hot button argument across discussion platforms. Famous make-up and tattoo artist Kat Von D got in hot water recently for posting on Instagram that her unborn baby would not be vaccinated.
While substantial research shows vaccines are safe and vital in disease prevention, refusal of childhood vaccines at the doctor is on the rise. It could be argued that having these famous allies has emboldened anti-vaxxer groups, whatever the reason never shy away from sharing their opinions online. When science isn't on your side it can make these arguments tricky, but as you’ll see in these examples that doesn't stop them from trying. Some people tried to embellish their medical background, while others could benefit from a class in logic.

School boards have allowed unvaccinated kids to go to public schools if they have a "religious" objection. I feel we are all in danger of the consequences the stupidity of others will bring towards us.The only antivaxers I know personally are barely literate Facebook warriors & unemployeed moms with 0 experience on the subject. I have never met a well educated professional or a doctor who is against vaccines. I've come to the conclusion that deep down anti-vaxxers regret being parents - they hate the responsibility, hate that they have to spend money on their kids instead of themselves, hate that they can't have amazing vacations and expensive cars because they have kids, etc. So they WANT their children to die. A lot of people don't bother with the flue shot because in general a healthy young person should be able to fight it off. But there's no reason not to do the infectious disease shots, even if it's traumatic. Also, just getting half doses is the same with not getting them at all. Educate yourself and others on the subject, and remember that you can get the vaccines even as an adult, when parents have no say in what you do. It was on BP the other day too, how a young woman got her shots after she became an adult.

You choosing to risk a painful death for yourself/your kid is one thing, but other people shouldn't suffer because of that.
