This Brutal Anti-PETA Rant Is Going Viral, And People Are Shocked To Learn About Their Hypocrisy
People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) is the largest animal rights organization in the world, but not everyone thinks they’re very righteous. For example, Calum Mcswiggan claims people shouldn’t donate money to them at all. Considering that PETA is funded almost exclusively by member contributions (according to their official 2017 financial statement, contributions amassed to roughly 96% of their $48,5M revenue), it’s basically saying that the organization should cease to exist. Someone, however, fully agree with Calum’s savage roast and have continued his line of thought, offering more examples why no one should give the animal welfare organization money. Animal welfare, working with animals and zoology in general has been my life now for close to four decades. And as someone who genuinely cares for, campaigns on behalf of and studies animals, PETA is the most hateful and confused organisation in the industry. Anyone who thinks PETA are interested in the welfare of animals are mistaken; it's nothing but a promotional and publiclity tool. If you really want to help secure the welfare of animals, then lobby your local MP, volunteer once a week at a shelter, buy free-range where at all possible.
according to peta "animals are people too" but they kill thousands of cats and dogs each year. cats and dogs that many of them think are equal or equivalent to people. i think they have just scraped the surface of the evil they are willing to take part in.
My question is.... what is Peta trying to promote or publicize? Which goal/which people are they serving?

You have to think though that there are plenty of people who would love to see PETA go down to protect their own interest. PETA has actually shined a lot of light on the abuse that goes on in poultry and dairy farms. They’ve made a lot of enemies. So anti PETA news stories or painting them as evil might just be put out there as propaganda. I mean Stealing cats and dogs off porches?? Just WTF? I don’t believe that.

I thought the same...what benefit are they supposed to have from euthanizing more animals that aren't even in their care already? I have read a lot of shit talk about them and but also explanations by their part that sounded pretty plausible... Does anybody know an objective source that can tell me what's what with this whole PETA conspiracy? I don't know what to believe anymore.

I know this is unpleasant and a bummer, especially for an entertainment site, but I wish everybody was fully aware of the absurdity and criminal nature of PETA. When I was young, I wanted to join them because I thought they stood for actually protecting animals, but they don't. They're just horrible.
You're right. I have always thought peta was a bit off. I was rescuing some pet store lizards that were being abused and trying to find them homes, and they didn't give a flying poop. From that day on I really disliked them, but this proof is so much more for me to dislike them with. SO sad.
If you read the article there were "TW" trigger warnings for each image explaining what you would see.
Thanks for that - I had no idea what TW meant. So not much of a warning for me - not that I needed one. The pics are sad/horrible but don't "trigger" me, whatever that actually means.

The "dead sheep" photo is fake.
Have to admit I "skimmed" some of the pics and didn't look too closely. But - PETA use this shocking pictorial language in the same way to spread their hate, seems only appropriate to use the same language on them. They are the only group I have blocked on my Social Media, so even if friends share it, I don't see it. Sick of their lies.

I understand that Nosfentor have read or listen that peta has christian values. He (she?) is not saying that christian people are bad but just the opposite. As christian values are supposed to be love, peace, taking care of others... same as much more other religions, by the way, so, if they say they are christians, and they have this type of values, they shouldn't do what they are doing because those things are against their values.
