There's something about broken patterns, a symmetry that's out of order, and flawed elements that seem to trigger us... Even if you're not a perfectionist, our brains just seem to prefer things that are ordered in a nice way. Not to mention how annoying things not in the right place can be.
To show you what we're talking about, Bored Panda has put together a list of disturbing photos that are guaranteed to invoke OCD. Don't believe me? Just take a look below and try to go through the whole imperfections list without muttering "aarrgh."

I guess this might be good for kids. My little sister (8 years old) was sitting next to me and she laughed like a crazy person when she saw this :-D I don't know, I thought it was creepy at first, but now I really don't know what to think about it when she found it so funny :-D she said that their smiles look like rabbits and Sponge Bob :-D I love children's imagination :-))
Can you imagine coming off anesthesia from getting your wisdom teeth out, and seeing this s**t? lol
It's sort of like clown makeup. The smiles are funny and goofy until you realise their eyes aren't smiling. THAT'S terrifying x Y (Y=Toinfinityandbeyond) when goofy mask person is holding a dental drill.
If these were my dentists or orthodontists I would freak out and just skeet skirt vroom vroom right outta there.
Clowns and medical or dental issues do not mix. Never trust a clown. They have no idea who or what they are.
Now I know why they restrict laughing gas!! That would scare the c**p out of me!!
O M G ! This would scare the s**t out of me. Especially if I was sedated and woke up,to this.
Yup creepy. I have my eyes closed when at the dentist when they r working. But when i open my eyes this could make me feel unsettled. Perhaps kids would like it????
If they're gonna do that at least use wolfman fangs and make it scary.

Going to the dentist is painful enough without having to look at these...
they are hysterically funny! A great way to relieve dentist-anxiety.
It's a visual version of people laughing at you--like when you go to the nail salon and they are obviously laughing at you in Vietnamese.
I think this is for children so they won't find it as scary to go to the dentist. And it really isn't that creepy in my opinion. It's basically the same kind of mouths a cartoon carachter have. What's creepy about that? It's just silly.
Reminds me of Animaniacs when i was little there was a surgeon on there that looked like this...hellooooooo nurse!

I didn't stop looking because any photo bothered me. I stopped because the pics are spread out over 90 slow to load pages full of click bait.
Don't bother trying to finish viewing this list in 1 sitting. It's 74 pages long, and has 369 entries. When i saw "10+" in the title, i thought i would be viewing 20 or so pics, not 369, goddammit.
My brother has ADD, so his computer looks a lot like the first picture
the most annoying of these are the '10 + and I'm on number XXX' You're contributing to that number, it's stupid and any # above 10 = '10+' stfu
another for the list, we done this 6000 piece jigsaw, anything over 4000 can be split into 4 so the pieces match from each corner, fun to more them around, drives ocd people nuts lol 1265132_10...eaa38d.jpg

most of these were fun or funny, then all of a sudden...someone with her fingers in her eyelids?? a frog with things crawling out of it's skin?? WTF?!?! those do not belong here. They belong in a post of things that'll make you want to throw up! or things that'll give you actual freaking nightmares! I'm not trying to be funny, I am freaking out! GROSS!
#110 is made to be like that. It's part of the design of the shirt. Also, you're overreacting with a lot of them. Maybe there'd be fewer pages if about 1/2 of these were removed
I didn't realise that there many things I see each day that makes me feel "uncomfortable".
#44 is actually a legit way of cleaning pcb's. Although it's not really a long term fix. You just got to do it propperly and make sure it's completely dry when reinstalling :)

#35 when you you are building in the Sims and you just put whatever window you can afford...
The flag on the dollar bill is upside down because an upside down flag in America is a distress signal. Specifically it is a "signal of dire distress in instances of extreme danger to life or property."
The one that has gotten to me the must is the tennagers with the textbook. If you look closely the photo on the textbook is them again. It's a of a photo in a photo 😖😖
There are more issues with the "Petrol guage" picture. 1) Why couldn't you spell it correctly? It's gauge not guage!. 2) It's not R/pm that would mean revolutions per per minute, It's RPM! 3) those are VERY low RPM's for a vehicle, they should be in the thousands unless this is a speedometer. and 4) obviously the 4/3 tank..
As if these pics didn't put me on edge enough lol wtf there is a face in 32!!!

The hand in picture #69 doesn't bother as much as people using the word "suppose". OMG, third grade English people. It should be "supposed".
I have something that will really make you uncomfortable but I keep getting an error when I try upload. Why?!?!?! That makes me uncomfortable.
At my previous doctor there was a ceiling fan. Just under lights. I think that it would kill anyone with epilepsy because even for me it was a hard one. And after giving quite a lot of blood for some testing I had to ask for turning that fan off.
That is what I thought I am so glad I am not the only one.
