We’re big fans of human beings in general, but oh my Lord, sometimes they’re so annoying, we wish we could mind-control them into being better. Humanity needs an upgrade, a software patch: the first thing that should be phased out are those pesky little behaviors that irritate us. That frustrate us. That make us rant and rave on the internet and to our friends.
Bored Panda has compiled a detailed list of these annoying things that people do, big and small, all for your viewing (dis)pleasure. Worst one I ever saw was a gallon of ice cream left on a non-refrigerated shelf early in the day. It had melted and oozed out of the carton and over the product on the 4 shelves below it and puddled on the floor.

I'm always screaming about folks going hungry, especially kids. How many could that feed? I swear, if I saw someone do that i'd.... put it back myself. No used preaching to a brain dead shopper. And if you wait for a over worked grocery employee to get around to it, it be garbage.
Yes I used to work for a grocery store. I kept smelling rancid meet but couldn't find it. It was stuffed in the middle of storage containers.

It drives me nuts when people do that, not even the fact that you’re hitting the supermarket’s profit but the fact the chickens were slaughtered for food that now will just be dumped in the trash. While in many places of the world people struggle to feed themselves and their children. F***ing disgusting!
When people do this (in america) it's fairly obvious that they have no concern about food management or waste. And of all the stuff that people claim they find disgusting (which is grossly overused) this THIS is one of the few things that is actually disgusting. The lack of judgement, the laziness and the effects of both.

Sadly, I expect we will never get rid of jerks. Shaming does not cure jerkitude and nothing fixes stupid.
Worst encounter is rotten warm milk in the summer clothes section. (At Walmart)

I once found a melted pint of ice cream on a shelf next to some clothes. I gave it to an employee. Another time, I found two quarts of ice cream on a non-refrigerated drink shelf. I took them to the register when I checked out and gave them to the cashier.
Stores do have people working to take care of this. This will never stay there for more than 5-10 minutes thanks to working people.
Can't tell you how many times this happened when I worked in produce. Worst one was where they left the product on a shelf five steps away from where they got it. By the time I found it, it was too warm to put back.

This is bad. What's worse is that in my 20's I was a security guard at a small chain grocery store and the employees (with manager knowledge) just put the meat back in the cooler when they found it after the store closed. Yuck

I once found a carton of milk sitting with the unrefrigerated soft drinks. I'd find the fool who put it there and make him drink it.

If you give food like these to a cashier or employee they're usually required by law to discard them. If it's still cold and you would eat it yourself, take a moment to put it back where it came from.

I hate finding these!! It's so wasteful because someone is too damn lazy to return it to where they got it, or even to give it to the cashier. If it will spoil they will usually have a bagger run it back right away. Needless waste.

So many things that drive me crazy on here. But your lucky to drive, have a car, have friends, have a job, and be alive. Remember that.

The only reason you might feel the need to shame these people is because modern society has normalized disregard for authority, and thereby encourages disregard for the law as well as social mores, or else you simply want to feel good about yourself by pointing out flaws in others. Either way, you are whining rather than doing what is necessary to stop behaviours like this.
It drives my husband batty sometimes, but when I see cups at the mall/carts in the parking lot that are going to hit cars or block spaces/ perishable food on shelves I take a second to fix it. Yes I know some people get paid to do it but those people usually also have 1,000 other duties. IDK, it feels like most people don't care about others and that's the root of most of these. (The rest like the phone screens are just funny but I couldn't live with)
