About 2 month ago, I tried to "clean up" my mother's desktop. Was pretty much like this, but not so much stuff. Still, it was pretty insane. "why don't you use folders?" "I don't understand them and never find a think there". well, yeah, if all documents on her desktop were called like "English" "AEnglish" "AAEnglish".."English1"...she is an english teacher, no one can blame her she cannot find anything wih documents named like that. I sorted it in folders.It meant to open every single one and take a look what it is. And yeah, some of them were just the same. Why? because she couldn't find the document on the desktop (because of the insane mess there), so she made that document again. and again. some of those documents had 4 copies.
I have thousands of folders and programs: Only 10 are showing because I arranged them all according to kind and purpose :)

I try never to go over 2 columns. I create files and then put docs in the files. I would drive myself crazy with if my desktop look like this.

Reminds me of the time during April fools, i made a screenshot of my co-workers desktop, which looked like a similar but slightly toned down version of the above, set it as the background picture and went back to work. Each time he would move a file, it would actually move but the 'picture' would stay behind. He thought his computer caught a virus, couldn't figure out to what had happened. Called in the it guy, he couldnt figure it out and re-installed the whole thing. One of my better days at that company!

So many things that drive me crazy on here. But your lucky to drive, have a car, have friends, have a job, and be alive. Remember that.

The only reason you might feel the need to shame these people is because modern society has normalized disregard for authority, and thereby encourages disregard for the law as well as social mores, or else you simply want to feel good about yourself by pointing out flaws in others. Either way, you are whining rather than doing what is necessary to stop behaviours like this.
It drives my husband batty sometimes, but when I see cups at the mall/carts in the parking lot that are going to hit cars or block spaces/ perishable food on shelves I take a second to fix it. Yes I know some people get paid to do it but those people usually also have 1,000 other duties. IDK, it feels like most people don't care about others and that's the root of most of these. (The rest like the phone screens are just funny but I couldn't live with)
