Rescued Indonesian Monkey Makes Friends Everywhere She Goes, And The Internet Loves It (35 Pics)
18Kviews
We can all get along! Though our social media feeds may suggest the opposite, a little baby monkey by the name of BiBi would agree. The tiny rescue lives in Animal Home in Indonesia, where she shares the space along with other cute animals, and BiBi seemingly has a great relationship with all of them. But don't just take our word for it, take a look at it yourselves. If BiBi seems oddly familiar to you, it may be because many of her videos go viral, reaching millions of views, and if you've seen them, you know that they're worth every second watched.

Why rescue him if you dont let him be a monkey? You dress him in silly clothing and use him as a prop for clickbaits. Just stop.
You know little monkey friend Thats exactly how they used to feed me 'till I growed up a bit!
I'm just washin the kids ear - please pay more attention to his hygiene!
Please listen - dogs should not have grapes - you gotta eat the egg!
I thought this monkey was kind but now I see she's a monster who microwaves innocent chickens.
The results of a cat crossing the path of the dog pulling my wagon.
This looks like a Photoshop of Donald Trump in a nappy, sleeping with a 'fat cat'. Kinda appropriate
IS BIBI REALLY A RESCUE? OR IS THIS ANIMAL BEING EXPLOITED FOR CLICKS?
Look at that channel on youtube, I came across it a few months ago and all I can one can think of is that those poor animals are not cherished as pets but rather subjects for "cute" animal videos and unfortunately there are so many new ones popping up everyday and a lot of them from Asia. Bibi is most likely not a rescue and i hate to say it but Bibi looks so malnourished and lethargic in the videos. I've had the priviledge to see many monkeys in the wild and in rehabilitation and all I can say is Bibi doesn't look so well for a baby her age.
Well, you do know that Bibi is gone. He supposedly sent her to a sanctuary because his monkey license ran out. We haven't had any updates since the "Where is Bibi" video explaining the situation. It's been over a month and a lot of speculation about what happened. Some say she wasn't cute anymore so he set her free in the forest to fend for herself. That has happened to others. Especially in Indonesia lately. There is an Indonesian monkey abuse trend that is running rampid on YT. I personally fear the worst for Bibi and now Obi and Chloe who took Bibi's place on another channel. They are already calling Obi Bibi. We thought the first time was a mistake but the second time we knew Bibi wasn't coming back.
THANK YOU! I thought dressing up animals was considered cruelty?
I think so! BP needs to get rid of such posts ASAP. It creates a market.
I don't want to imagine what will happen to her and all the other baby animals in those pictures once they grow up and 'aren't cute' anymore. :(
This is sad this monkey is very malnourished from the looks of it and it’s sad to say she probably is being exploited for pictures.
This is just wrong in so many ways. Buying a baby wild animal that was stolen from its parents—who were very likely killed to make that possible—is simply immoral!
This is not rescued in any ways. They clearly took him for profit purposes, and promoting to have monkeys as pet. When people wants baby monkeys as pets, the sellers usually gets them from the forest by killing their mother because there's no way the mother monkeys would give their kids to people willingly.
This is heartbreaking. Monkeys are social beings and live in groups. This little guy is likely starved for companions. Please don't promote animal abuse. Wild animals may survive in captivity, but they're not really living.
I've learned a lot from donating to and following a monkey sanctuary in Canada. The sanctuary tries to create family groups whenever possible, as socializing is really important. For monkeys that might fight (such as if two males are with one female), they're in neighbouring cages so that they can still socialize, but safely. They get access to the outdoors, too. One time, some monkeys watched people do yoga at a fund-raiser for the sanctuary.
this is a new level of absolute horrible animal abuse. People are gonna down vote and say that this is a rescue, but if you rescue a monkey FROM A FOREST, ITS HOME, THATS NOT RESCUING. it's not ok to abduct animals from their homes to get clicks and money. please spread the word so this stops happening
This looks like animal exploitation. If this was a real rescue, they would be rehabbing this monkey for release, not dressing it up and doing photo shoots with props.
Even if the monkey can't be released, it would be given a more natural lifestyle and socializing.
Palm oil plantations are destroying Indonesian forests and driving animals to extinction. Don't buy products that contain palm oil.
If BiBi is being exploited how can you call yourself Animal Rescue! Rescue includes love if you are exploiting these beautiful critters. I love making comments on these animal sites but I think I see fear in BiBi's eyes in most photos! plus she look to be extremely thin. The fear seems to be from the camera not the other animals. I think this Animal Rescue is a farce and should be closed down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I made a comment at the first pic about how cute it was, but as I was scrolling down, I felt a pit in my stomach and went up and deleted it. When visiting a South America country, driving on the highway, I saw men holding tiny cages filled to the brim with desperate baby monkeys for sale, that they had stolen from their mothers. And they advise the buyers to de-claw and de-fang them. When will these abductions and cruelty STOP???
This is just awful 😢
Awaiting a catastrophe happens. Remember the chimp a woman in US had and he ate the face of her friend? Being humanized like that can stress an animal way too much
I don't think this monkey is going to try to kill anyone, but it could still get very aggressive and bite. People who work with monkeys are sometimes forbidden from donating blood because of possible zoonotic diseases.
Not one of you ppl have done anything to actually find out anything it's just all assumptions which make you all fools. If they take cute pics so what!!! No harm done. Get lives bc apparently ur lives r full of negativity. Lovers move on!
You do know that Bibi is gone right? Look at the video called, "Where is Bibi" we haven't heard anything about her in over a month.
I say that rescuing something is different from literal kidnapping killing an animal parents to ensure they never get them back and so they can keep exploiting them for money and popularity there are so many up votes to this post but I say we down vote. That is certainly what I’m doing and have done
Hey guys please check out a YouTube channel called Michael and Lisa Lindsay. They have put together a a list of some very concerning YT baby monkey abuse channels.
I think I like Bibi (the monkey) with the goat or the duck(s) are my favourite, but I am going to be doing some research into the wellbeing of these animals
Are you sure this is in Indonesia? the currency in picture 20 is Vietnamese Dong, not Indonesian Rupiah.
Indonesia.
What haters you are. Bibi and the rest of the animals looks happy. Must people always comment!
