It think it is not the casts...it is learning about tiny creatures, their struggle for health, and the help offered by a few nice humans.
I wish there was a cast that could mend my broken heart after our reclining love seat broke our kitten's neck. Please check all your seats for pinch points. The crappier the seat the more likely for it to have dangerous places. BTW LazyBoy does a awesome job limiting all those potential hazards.
