Fox Escapes From Her Cage In A Fur Farm, Gets Spotted By Activists And Rescued

Every day, millions of foxes suffer barbaric conditions on fur farms. This inhumane practice still exists purely for the sake of fashion. However, some are fortunate enough to be rescued from this cruel fate. This is the heartwarming story of a red fox named Frania who was saved from a Polish fur farm.

Open Cages are running a fundraiser throughout December to fight for an end to this cruel, outdated industry, one that recently seems on the brink of collapse.

This is a really special opportunity to help foxes in need, especially as any new £8 monthly donations mean that Open Cages will get a £20 bonus gift from a major donor.

Act now by donating or sharing the fundraiser!

A few months ago, Open Cages activists investigated a Polish fur farm for cases of negligence

Foxes were found scared and starving in tiny metal cages

The rusty, hard bars of the cages hurt the foxes’ paws in the little space they had

They tried to reach for freedom, while others didn’t manage to survive

Some had managed to escape. One of those was a little red fox

She was found alone and dirty near the cages, searching for any scraps of food

Open Cages’ activists gained her trust and managed to rescue her

She was taken to the vets as she was suffering and in pain

She received all the medical treatment she needed to restore her health

She was still afraid of humans, but was brave throughout her checkups

They named her Frania

Soon after her vet visit, Frania began to settle into her new safe home

Free from harm, her inquisitive nature began to show

She began to interact with her fellow rescued friends, an opportunity that she never had when on the fur farm

Her renewed health and confidence truly began to shine

She started to explore more and feel the fresh grass beneath her paws

She finally had the space to follow her senses and smell scents she’d never experienced before

She started to play with toys

And root around in the dirt

A whole new world was wide open to Frania to explore

Safe from the fur farm and her tiny cage, she is now free to express her natural behaviors and live life to the fullest

All foxes deserve to live a happy and carefree life like Frania. Unfortunately, her friends still continue to suffer on fur farms

But this can change. Hope is on the horizon for foxes as now, more than ever, the end of the fur industry is in sight

Poland and Estonia are close to achieving a final fur ban that would save millions of foxes each year

But they need your help

Open Cages are saying “NO” to fur farming to save foxes like Frania from cruelty. And you can join by donating to the fundraiser and sharing with your family and friends!

All animals deserve a chance. There are many animals that are locked up their whole lives for breeding, fur, etc. They never feel love or feel freedom. I appreciate and look up to this organization and the people in this organization that help save animals and give them a chance at a happy, healthy, free life in the wild or if they need to be domesticated.

WOW! So we think this is sad, but in an article a few days ago about fur vs vegan options most people were against the vegan options!! Check: https://www.boredpanda.com/fur-vs-vegan-clothing-debate/

The article was about reusing old furs and leather instead of throwing it away. I think it is a slap in the face to all animals who have been killed for human consumption to waste any part of it by throwing it in the trash. The article was NOT in support of making new furs.
