Fox Escapes From Her Cage In A Fur Farm, Gets Spotted By Activists And Rescued
Every day, millions of foxes suffer barbaric conditions on fur farms. This inhumane practice still exists purely for the sake of fashion. However, some are fortunate enough to be rescued from this cruel fate. This is the heartwarming story of a red fox named Frania who was saved from a Polish fur farm.
Open Cages are running a fundraiser throughout December to fight for an end to this cruel, outdated industry, one that recently seems on the brink of collapse.

All animals deserve a chance. There are many animals that are locked up their whole lives for breeding, fur, etc. They never feel love or feel freedom. I appreciate and look up to this organization and the people in this organization that help save animals and give them a chance at a happy, healthy, free life in the wild or if they need to be domesticated.

The article was about reusing old furs and leather instead of throwing it away. I think it is a slap in the face to all animals who have been killed for human consumption to waste any part of it by throwing it in the trash. The article was NOT in support of making new furs.

But foxes shouldn't be available to just anyone as a pet!!! Realistically they should go to zoos, rehabs, ambassador animal programs, and sanctuaries... Individual people (every day people) Can't provide a high enough level of care (cough cough Enrichment) And if your "pet" (fox, opossum, raccoon, skunk) Bites someone(or their pet) They will be euthanized!!! Vets by law are required to euthanize or mame them to get a brain sample to test them for rabies
Frania is so much more gorgeous now that you rescued her. I hope all of the foxes manage to get rescued. 🦊

Just stop using animal products. Those who wear fur are evil and ugly.
I don’t support fur farms. They are cruel and it isn’t ethical to only harvest them for their fur and leave them crammed into these cages. I would however wear leather and wool etc. Cows are not wasted and every part is put to use. Sheep are sheered. Other animals are often used entirely or are sheered. Hunting for that which is not food coyotes with the exception of taking live stock I wouldn’t hunt or lions or wolves. I can’t see myself trophy hunting. I hope they put a stop to these farms!
Anyone remember the post from a few days ago about how fur coats last longer and are more biodegradable than non-fur coats?
