Osiris and Riff Rat are an unusually trusting couple; the 3-year-old Dutch shepherd therapy dog lets the 3-month-old rat crawl into his mouth and clean his teeth – Dutch shepherds are famous for their obedience and train-ability. Riff Rat was rescued at about 4 weeks of age and nursed back to health with a syringe.
“Riff Ratt really likes licking the inside of Osiris’ mouth. I’m sure you all are wondering if we’re afraid Osiris will eat Riff – NOPE! Osiris has helped foster and care for dozens of animals and he is the gentlest dog I’ve ever met,” writes their owner on the @osirisandriff Instagram.

I had a rat that hung out with my two dogs and two cats. They would all get on my bed and chase each other. Rats are soooooooo smart!
I don't know how people can not like rats because they are really cute - & intelligent as well. I think this relationship is so endearing <3

Either Osiris thinks Riff Rat is a really tiny dog, or Riff Rat thinks Osiris is a really huge rat. LOL!
