You dont get to call Americans every name in the book it THEY make negative, blanket generalizations about millions of people due to their nationality...but then turn around and say it is A-OK to do that to Americans. It is actually the very DEFINITION of hypocrisy and your silly denial changes nothing about that fact...also, Americans arent even a "majority" in the world, we are a minority...so according to your own logic, I am correct and we are NOT "fair game".

No it isn't the definition of "hypocrisy". When a person in power whines "oh the minority is picking on me", it is about as pathetic as someone walking into an emergency room and demanding that their paper cut is just as important as the next person's gunshot to the stomach wound. And this is an English speaking website, the majority of people here are most certainly Americans.

And btw...this site is Lithuanian...and the majority are NOT American just because it is English- language based. Most Europeans, Australians and many citizens of Asian countries know English.

Yes Commander Rex, that is exactly how it works, and it is completely fair. It is a question of power. I will clarify that it is more about power than being "majority", there are cases where the minority hold the power (e.g. in a feudal system, it is ok for the peasants to trash talk the nobles, but not the other way around). The thing is, it is a matter of power. When someone who is disenfranchised is bigoted to someone in power, the results are trivial. When someone in power trash talks the disenfranchised, the results are more severe. If you think of words as a weapon, the powerful's words are a spiked club, while the disenfranchised's words are a nerf bat. It is completely fair to say that those two things aren't the same.

How do you think, oh I dunno, feminists would feel if I tried to block out a bunch of meetings about women’s rights? I’d likely leave with a few broken bones. And that’d be fine. Discrimination against those in power hurts their feelings. Discrimination against the disenfranchised severely impacts their lives. Sure, discrimination is discrimination, but to say that hurting someone's feelings are equivalently as bad as hurting someone's ability to live or succeed in life... well that is BS. I am trying to downplay it, because people believe this ridiculous concept that what someone does is just as important than the *consequences* of what someone does. As a white man, I don't care if a minority starts trash talking me for being white, I don't care how cruel their words are. It doesn't stop me from getting a mortgage, it doesn't get me shot by the cops for being in the wrong place at the wrong time, it doesn't result in my resume being ignored when I apply for a job. There are no actual consequences to my life. And the people in positions of privilege who DO complain when someone says mean things to them are pathetically fragile.

Cops shoot white criminals at the same rate as black criminals. Banks turn down people with bad credit at the same rate regardless of color. Aliquid, you're trying to attribute different outcomes to racism by assuming that all behaviors and values of ethnic groups are equal. That is an unproven assumption. Example: Asians generally do better academically not because the system is racist and bent toward them. They do better because their culture and family structure focuses on hard work and academic success.

Not all of your "group" is in power. That is your problem with group identities. There are plenty of abused homeless white children...don't pretend they have power. There are many brilliant and charismatic African Americans....don't pretend they do not have power.
