When business owners go to Disneyland, they probably end up headhunting all of the employees out there. That's how dedicated and professional they are. Spotting a guy with a Deadmau5 shirt? Of course, Minnie Mouse will react. Meeting a guide dog? Pluto certainly won't miss a chance to pet it. Working as a real-life Disney character requires both dedication and a sense of humor!

"There's a lot that goes into creating a positive workplace culture that inspires your employees to provide incredible customer service," Bruce Jones, Disney Institute's Senior Director said. "But there has to be an essential foundation on which all service decisions can be developed - a common purpose. Disney's key to creating magical guest interactions and amazing stories for them stems from our Cast Members' understanding of our company's common purpose, which we describe this way - 'We create happiness by providing the best in entertainment for people of all ages everywhere.'"

Scroll down to witness Disney employees doing just that - from heartwarming words to random acts of kindness, these good people know how to make Disneyland the most magical place.

I thought you can't pet service dogs. Or is a guide dog not the same as a service dog?

Obviously had to get permission from the guide dog owners normally people aren't allowed but I guess if it is Pluto an expectation can be made

I thought guide dogs (or any service dogs) weren't supposed to be petted?

The last article about a woman who asked to pet a guide dog was publicly shamed and threatened with violence. I guess you need to be a man in a dog suit and then it’s ok.

Consent matters. In the story you are referring to the woman insisted even when told no. In this picture it looks like the owner is cool with it.

We don't know by this photo that Anna wasn't looking at a child in costume. Children under 14 are allowed to dress as Disney Characters, and adults can as well as long as it's during one of their featured events (Disney's Not So Scary Halloween)

I find it fascinating that you can still efficiently communicate in ASL while wearing one of those costumes. I heard these are super uncomfortable to wear and the shapes are out of proportions (obviously, since they replicate cartoon mascots). And yet, sign language is still possible. As someone who majored in linguistics, I seriously find that interesting and amazing.

They say that blindness separates you from the world and deafness separates you from the people. It's so heartwarming that the Disneyland employees know at least some sign language to have a simple conversation with deaf/HOH visitors. <3
