Woman Refuses To Remove Her Rose Garden, So Allergic Neighbor Takes Care Of It Herself And Gets The Cops Called On Her
Recently, a 25-year-old woman and the owner of the house where she has been living all her life turned to the AITA community for some advice.
In a post that amassed 4.2k upvotes, the woman explained how she recently got a new neighbor who is allergic to her roses. “She lives right next door and won’t stop complaining about my roses,” the author wrote.
The author believes that it’s not her fault: “She should have considered that I had plants when she first went to buy the house. It’s not like it was the cheapest option or anything, I live in a pretty expensive neighborhood,” she argued.
As the tension between them was reaching the boiling point, the author caught her neighbor chopping away at the roses in her garden on camera. This was enough to cause a heated confrontation, so scroll down to find out how it all ended.

She "can't trust doctors with her diagnosis" sounds an awful lot like "she's full of it" to me. Either a hypochondriac or just a liar.
Yeah, she's not even diagnosed with a real disorder and even if she was, it's an easy fix. She just has not not trespass on her neighbor's property and not mess up the plants that she's allegedly allergic to like a weirdo.
Anyone allergic to Roses would probably not get right up to them to cut them.

Completely!!! I'm pretty much allergic to everything but the earth's crust, and even I'm not allergic to roses, lol
Or just an entitled a**hole. Like the people who go to restaurants and say they're allergic to something and the kitchen has to clean everything to avoid cross contamination to accommodate them when in reality, they just don't like the item and aren't allergic.

She's a liar. You can't be allergic to roses. I heard you can't be allergic to any cultivated flowers because the pollen is too heavy and doesn't float around.
My guess is she decided she was allergic, went to a doctor, the doctor ran tests and told her she’s not allergic - and that’s why she “can’t trust doctors with her diagnosis.”
This lady is obviously not actually allergic, she just has a compulsive need to control people. This site makes me feel so lucky to have always had reasonable neighbors.
I had an annoying one who kept complaining about my bougainvillea dropping one or two flowers in her driveway. She asked me to cut it down and I refused. Don't make me plant a camellia!! lol
Those are both gorgeous; I'd love it if a neighbor kept such a lovely garden. The arrogance of some people to take offense at plants and the wind. I can't understand the desire to have that much control over your property. I guess some people have a delusion that their 4 property corners somehow isolate them from the natural world.
I have the opposite, a lovely neighbour who has let her beautiful wisteria climb all over my house because I asked her to :)
Amen to that. Think she will always find a nail for her hammer so if it isn't roses it will become so other complaint. Controlling and unhappy

So, there's a comment from OP further down the thread just before the edit appeared. "after I found out she was cutting my roses? Just checked my camera again and SHE IS LOOKING THROUGH MY WINDOWS I'm calling the cops.". Apparently this batcrap crazy neighbour was just on some kind of power trip?
