Agora, one of the world’s far-reaching digital art platforms. The company announces today the long-awaited launch of its 2022 Agora Awards, which have a starting cash prize of 25,000$ per category.

As their third edition, Agora Awards have become a household name in the world of the arts with winners including Michael Aboya, the renowned Ghanian photographer.

This year’s Awards are especially extraordinary as finalists –100- and winning works will be turned into NFTs which will be available to bid and buy from Agora’s recently launched NFT Marketplace. Winners are guaranteed a cash prize of 25,000$ but could expect higher values as this amount will only be the starting bidding price for potential investors and art collectors.

This year, the Awards will celebrate the best artists in six categories:

–Photograph of the Year

–Song of the Year

–Documentary Film of the Year

–Short film of the Year

–Award to the “Story behind the photo”

–Digital Artwork of the Year

In addition, finalists and winners will take part in the first-ever NFT Awards Barcelona which will be taking place in October 2022.
