Woman Flies 6000 Miles To Bring Home Stray Dog That Saved Her From Attack, But She Didn’t Expect This
Vacations are supposed to be a time for relaxation, but for Plymouth University student Georgia Bradley, of Cornwall, her trip to Crete almost turned into a nightmare. The young woman was alone on the beach when two men asked her to go for a drink, and then turned violent when she refused. Thankfully, a stray dog courageously came to her rescue and scared the assailants off. But when she returned to the UK, Bradley faced a new, unexpected, problem.
“When I got home I couldn’t stop thinking about her,” Bradley told the Daily Mail. “I took the soonest flight back out that I could, which was two weeks later. It was a real risk because we may never have found her again. But when we saw Pepper on the beach, it was the best feeling ever.”
It took Bradley several trips, totalling thousands of miles and dollars in expenses, along with a long quarantine, to bring the dog back to the UK. And the biggest surprise? A week after landing, Pepper gave birth to six puppies! “It has been such a crazy journey. But I am over the moon. Pepper has settled in brilliantly,” says Bradley.

My heart is so full of happiness for the young lady and Pepper! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❗️❗️
Great story happy ending for all but i cannot understand why it would have cost here all this money if she lived in the UK England I think Scotland is a but more ...and this would be off putting to people who would also adopted from here 275 € for a cat passport to go to the UK
Load More Replies...Wonderful story! What an unexpected and lovely surprise! Thank you for going back and rescuing Pepper (:
If she's from Cornwall and attend Plymouth University, why did it cost her thousands of dollars? Is there a Cornwall and Plymouth University in the USA?
Presumably because Bored Panda assumes a US audience
Load More Replies...One of the very best rescue stories I've ever heard. Ms. Bradley is in my opinion a supreme Human! Pepper's value will only increase with the unconditional love that exists between a human and dog. May they live long, healthy and happy lives.
the start of a very long very dear friendship. Cheers to these two ladies! ;)
OMG Cute!!!!!!! Anyone/Anything that saves you from disaster should be thanked and pepper did. Take care of those pups pepper!
What a lovely story. I admire her for what she did. So many of us befriend strays abroad but wouldn't know the first thing about bringing one back home with us. Well done Georgia!
That woman did a wonderful thing. I'm so happy for the brave little dog. She deserves it.
Pepper is just beautiful and happy! So wonderful she saved the girl and then the girl saved her. :-)

What a beautiful story. Pepper risked her own life for protect this lady, how much kindest can exist into a little creature
What a brave little girl (the dog), it's not so big, but still went to fight those men... And what a great decision from Georgia, definitely one of the best dog/human story :D
What a wonderful story! Good for Georgia and the dog :) The puppies look lovely and should find good homes without too much trouble.
How kind she was to the beautiful dog. They will both make beautiful Mothers
Such a lovely story! And good timing to give birth in UK! British citizenship! :P
Thank goodness this woman had the heart and the money to save this wonderful dog and her precious puppies.
Bravo Bradley!!! you changed Peppers world!!!!unfortunately Crete as many other places around Greece, animal cruelty & the situation with the strays is overwhelming & brutal...i have been living in Greece for 20 yrs, what i have seen is simply horrific...i still cant fathom the cruelty, its truley sickening!!!
Awesomer! She's a lady with a great big heart and she and Pepper are both lucky to have found each others. I'm very happy for them.
This is such a beautiful story. Two amazing and loving beings--a match undoubtedly made in heaven.
This dog reminds me my old lady as a young girl. Can I adopt one of the babies ?
If the dog is attacking the human aggressor, and she is actually pregnant, wouldn't that was because she was in pregnancy hormonal? pregnant animals does become over-protective.
God sent her back there for a purpose. Without her those puppies probably wouldn't have had a chance. Prayers for them all!
God didn't send her there. She is a grown woman, she decided to go there because she quickly bonded with the dog. As if god doesn't have more important things to do. Like rescuing abused women and kids or starving Africans...
