When This Soldier’s Best Friend Left Active Duty, He Made A New Best Friend
Working with your best friend makes any job more fun, even when you’re a soldier on active duty. It’s hard when that friend moves on to a new chapter, though, and you’re left wondering who will take their place. This soldier came up with the perfect solution.
Meet SPC Plank, the best army pal anyone could ask for. He’s low maintenance, travels light, and never gets board – er, bored. He never complains, but occasionally pines. He’s got a bit of a chip on his shoulder, but he definitely spruces up the joint.
He bears a striking resemblance to a certain Ed, Edd & Eddy character. Perhaps they’re long lost relatives? If so, we hope this member of the Plank family makes it home from duty safely.

We did this in math class once. A kid named Edward was gone so we drew a face on a glue stick and named it Edward.
