I Captured The Eerie Beauty Of this Abandoned Palace In Poland (30 Pics)
The Rzewuski Palace was built in the years 1921–1922. It was designed by the famous Warsaw architect Juliusz Nagórski. The Rzewuski family lived permanently in Warsaw and it was this palace that was to become their summer residence. In 1945, an agricultural school was established on the premises of the palace. After 1969, offices and apartments for school employees were located here. Unfortunately, in 1985, a fire broke out in the palace, after which the monument fell into disrepair. Attempts were made to save it, but it was to no avail and the renovation of the palace was interrupted.
When I visited this place for the first time in 2017, it made a significant impression on me. The most characteristic thing about this object is an old broken piano that is barely standing on its last leg. Unfortunately, the object falls into worse and worse ruin day by day. There are also plates on the building with the words “building to be demolished.” Detriment. Shame.

Share on FacebookI enjoy these "abandoned" posts . After seeing quite a few of them I've come to one conclusion. There must be a gazillion abandoned pianos across Europe.
This is a really nice building. Looks like it was bombed in the war or something. I cant understand how these sort of buildings are left abandoned for such a long time. This could be an excellent project. As long as the shell is in tact this could be once again a beautiful building. Love the fireplace and the pillars.
This is really beautiful. It was amazing to see them (i wish i could see it in real life) :D
These photos are really well done, and I just love the building in general. The piano is magnificent on it's own, but the sheet music left behind makes it even more so (somehow). Kudos to you, these are beautiful
You can see in your minds eye how beautiful this must have been. I like to see the rooms and you have to guess sometimes what they were, but LIttle things left behind can give you a hint as to what the room was used for.I bet the music room where the grand piano is was gorgeous with all the windows shhh....I think I hear strains of Chopin coming from the building.
Sad to see, I enjoy seeing old beautiful buildings, the architecture is incredible in most, abandoned buildings especially in Europe, to think of the beauty, so much created, without modern tools !!!
How can you abandon a place like this? I'll buy this in a heartbeat :D
