93-Year-Old Bride Asks The Internet To Help Her Pick Her Wedding Dress: A, B, C or D?
Sometimes, finding the perfect wedding dress seems impossible but this bride faces the opposite problem. Sylvia Martin, 93, is marrying her long-term friend Frank Raymond, 88, in July but she can't decide between her most favorite gowns. So, she asked the internet for help and we're here for her!
The story started when this great-grandmother from Canberra, Australia, went shopping for an ideal gown. She tried on a number of dresses but 4 of them were Sylvia's absolute favorites and she couldn't pick which one to choose. To help her, somebody took the discussion to Facebook where they posted a picture of Sylvia posing in all of the dresses and asked their followers which design should the classy lady choose.
The post also said that Frank has asked Sylvia to marry him many times. "Sylvia has always refused, thinking that to take a new surname would be disrespectful to her deceased husband," it said. "A year ago, Sylvia took ill and moved to Canberra to be near her family, and Frank thought all hope was lost. When Sylvia recovered, she found Frank, who was living in Adelaide, and convinced him to move to Canberra to be with her. Frank arrived a couple of months ago and again asked Sylvia to marry him. Sylvia had learned that you can keep your own surname when you marry, and so said yes."
While we can't attend this beautiful couple's wedding, we certainly can help the bride decide what to wear.

I like A best, it is the most Classy, flattering and modern, young and fresh and has a nice neckline . C and D look more older not just in style but more like an older women would choose 10 + years ago, the style on D is nice but it is to busy.
try something white. its traditional i guess and she will look just stunning. otherwise a is better than others

I'm sorry but I really don't like any of them for a wedding dress. I know you are 93 yrs old but I think something in a pale blue or mint green would be so much prettier for a wedding. All the others except D looks like a good dress to attend a church service.

Everyone, she is 93 years old and if she wishes to wear red for her wedding then that is fine. I personally like #1A, it has very nice lines which really flatter your figure and has a flowey bridal look/feel to it. Plus, as an artist, I think the blue red suits your complextion more than the orange red. In the end, wear what makes you smile as you picture yourself wearing it for your wedding day. Congratulations lovely lady! :)

If only this one was in the red. The shape looks the best but the red looks good on her. I'd take it to a talented seamstress and have it made in red.

I think C is flattering and kind of more wedding-ish because of the lace. I love B because of the print. I think it is very figure flattering. A and D are nice but seem kind of plain. Even though they have the most fashion forward designs. By the look on your face however, you look like you love the flower print one the most. You have a smile and look more confident.
