Sometimes, finding the perfect wedding dress seems impossible but this bride faces the opposite problem. Sylvia Martin, 93, is marrying her long-term friend Frank Raymond, 88, in July but she can't decide between her most favorite gowns. So, she asked the internet for help and we're here for her!
The story started when this great-grandmother from Canberra, Australia, went shopping for an ideal gown. She tried on a number of dresses but 4 of them were Sylvia's absolute favorites and she couldn't pick which one to choose. To help her, somebody took the discussion to Facebook where they posted a picture of Sylvia posing in all of the dresses and asked their followers which design should the classy lady choose.
The post also said that Frank has asked Sylvia to marry him many times. "Sylvia has always refused, thinking that to take a new surname would be disrespectful to her deceased husband," it said. "A year ago, Sylvia took ill and moved to Canberra to be near her family, and Frank thought all hope was lost. When Sylvia recovered, she found Frank, who was living in Adelaide, and convinced him to move to Canberra to be with her. Frank arrived a couple of months ago and again asked Sylvia to marry him. Sylvia had learned that you can keep your own surname when you marry, and so said yes."
While we can't attend this beautiful couple's wedding, we certainly can help the bride decide what to wear.

This is the most apropriate for the occasion. The material is very elegant, as also the colour. The shape is very feminine and the patern of the lace goes very well with pearls. I would also put a small cream/beige/white veil, the colour should be chosen to suit your complexion... 40s inspiration...

This one looks more festive, and fitting for the bride. Except, this color is very dark for her beautiful hair and skin! Too much burgundy! I'd chose a lighter color, like a deep pink with more blue tones to it. Her skin is very red looking with this color on her! I'd even choose a royal blue color, or on the other spectrum, a wonderful apricot/ pinkish hue, to compliment her skin tone. But this burgundy, is much too dark for a wedding dress! Also, a few sequin sparkles wouldn't go amiss! Congratulations! Also, chose something with a nice flow to it, as I'm sure the happy couple will dance, and something. Floaty in the skirt of the dress, would look wonderful, and stay in the tea length area. Not knee length.

This one is lovely. It is similar to what I wore at my own wedding, except for the color.
Oh, C is the most flattering overall. A has a neckline that is nice on you. B and D don't seem like wedding wear. Most important is that y o u enjoy your wedding day and each one thereafter. Best wishes from the California coast.

This is my favorite of all - lacy and elegant - but lose the rope of pearls. It's overkill. You'll have flowers to carry or wear, so you don't need the pearls. Just a pretty pair of earrings.
This is the best one, I think. But the other commenters are right. You are beautiful and Frank will love you no matter what you wear.
I think the lace is more wedding-like and this is the only dress that doesn't show pantie lines. Love the colour!

Definitely A or D. A good tip I received was to get a great bra, and to wear a slip underneath so the dress looks smooth.

At 93 you look amazing in all of them but my advice to you isn't to ask everyone else which one looks best ... it's to ask yourself which one makes you feel good, which one makes you feel like your in your sexy twenties again, which one makes you walk an inch taller just because you feel so damn good in it , which one feels most like you.. on your wedding day ... it's not about what everyone else thinks looks good... it's about what makes you feel radiant and that is what everyone will see on the day ... best wishes and congratulations 💖
