Ugh tell me about it. You think you created your best work yet, and then you see some Instagram art that makes yours look like a five-year-old drew it -_-
Or when you put effort into it and love the results and publish it on the internet and then you get the comment: "Nice sketch!"

Whenever i think i drew a really good picture i see all the other artists i follow on instagram and then i realise how mush more i need to improve
I sometimes feel like this, but then I remember Picasso's cubism and Jackson Pollock's works and then I keep doing my thing.
The worst thing is when you realize this thing DURING the creation of the artwork...
I had to make a comic for a class. I thought mine was great. Then I saw my friend's comic and legit almost started crying.
I don't even have to compare my finished art with another person. I immediately start to criticize myself and hate on my own art as soon as I get a look at it, so I usually end up deleting it from whatever website I submitted it on.

I Once Tried To Zoom Into My Paper. Why.
I know how it feels, being an artist with depression-and I'm sure a bunch of other pandas do too- especially when you take your best work, and then look at it next to some hyper realistic piece of sorcery someone posted on here, and wonder how the hell people do it, how are they so good? Why can't I do this? And then this sends one into that big old downward spiral of self-worthlessness, thinking "what is the point?" "I suck at everything" "Why am I alive?" At these times it's easy to make the mistake of thinking you are the most pointless waste of time, but you gotta remember: The point of art is not making it look super goodamn hyper frickin' realistic, that's what cameras are for- Art is meant to send a message, to express ones feeling, and life experiences, and you can do this no matter how good of an artist you are. You've captured this ideal brilliantly, Jen, remember you're not alone in any of this. I hope you're okay, I really do. Your art is gorgeous, and we love you. Peace.

I can't draw, but I write. And these comics related to me when I want to write something
Imagine how much worse this feels for non artists trying to draw (like myself) LOL.
