61-Year-Old Model Absolutely Rocks Her Swimsuit Campaign, And Shares Her Beauty Secrets

Swimsuit adverts are often highly sexualized, but as you can see from these stunning pictures, they don’t have to be. Nor do they have to feature young models, as Yasmina Rossi proves. You wouldn’t believe it to look at her, but the model, visual artist, and self-portrait photographer is in fact over 60 years old. And she definitely has a fair share of tips on how to look younger.
The photographs below are part of a campaign for a swimsuit collaboration between online shop The Dreslyn and a lingerie house called Land of Women. According to Brooke Taylor Corcia, founder of Dreslyn, the purpose of the collection was to veer away from the hyper-sexualized imagery of existing swimwear lines. She decided to choose Malibu, California-based Rossi as their older model of choice because, as she said to Huffpost, “This is a woman who radiates health and vitality. She’s confident; she’s a visual artist, she takes care of herself. [This line is] all about being a person who’s well-lived and well-traveled and has intelligence and confidence, and letting that shine through.”

Believe it or not, Yazemeenah Rossi is 61-years-old
She was born in France in 1955 and was raised on the island of Corsica
She’s a model, visual artist, and self-portrait photographer based in Malibu, California

“There is no big secret,” she once told the Sunday Times about her beauty tips. “All I have ever done is eat organic food – long before it became trendy”
“”I take oil and use it on my skin. I put rapeseed oil on my hair. I scrub my skin once a week with olive oil and fine sugar, and I eat an avocado a day and organic meat and fish and those are my beauty secrets””

Well. It's more than just organic food. The choices of food are important. But genes and lifestyle are big factors.
She's a beautiful woman and always will be. The photo with the horse is fabulous - the way the grey colours flow and blend. Stunning.
She looks stunning at 61! I envy her a little but I can't stop thinking it's pizza night (maybe if it's organic?) :)
Pizza does not need to be unhealthy. Organic flour and ingredients for sure. Tomatoes, pesto, spinach, feta cheese, etc.

That is rude. I don't think she is photoshopped. I am 66 and work out and take care of myself. My figure is so much like hers.
We are blessed to have good genes. I am thankful for that.
