Last year I tackled mental health with the hopes of shining a different light on the subject.
This year I decided to take on our worst fears and create 31 phobias.

This picture just make uncomfortable and makes my skin feel curl up the longer i view it.
Definitely, have this too :/ Can a person have that much phobia? I think I have so many...
The difference between a common fear and a phobia is that a phobia interferes with your ability to live a normal life. For instance - I definitely am disgusted by closely packed holes and this sketch made me nauseous, but I am able to look at it (quickly) and just go 'blech!' So - a common fear. If I had been phobic, this image would have triggered a panic attack, or caused me to lose control of my bodily functions or something similar. I squeal like a girl when I see a spider, but can catch them in a glass no problem (common fear) my mom wets herself and faints if she sees one (phobia). You are normal, don't worry :)
Load More Replies...I feel this way but really mostly when it involves skin not necessarily like sponges or anything...is there a difference
Yes I think it's an inborn disgust of stuff that looks like skin disease or similar stuff, sponges don't bother me either.
Load More Replies...Is it different when you have this fear except with bumps rather than holes?
For me it's only when the holes are on someone's skin. It looks like some sort of freakish parasite nest.
I have it too. But, a noticeable thing here is that one will not know that he/she has this phobia unless they see an image/object that triggers it. It's not the deadliest but it's scary enough and it's worse when it's on the human skin.
Said fear is a subject of one of YouTube's "Gray Area" videos.
yk this may sound kinda off topic but small holes and irregular patterns dont scare me, they just make me rlly uncomfortable. like for some reason i always wanna grind my teeth when i see stuff like that?? ik it sounds weird but ive been trying to figure out why but i cant find anything
I wasn't prepared for this one... I have this severely, so much so that certain things make me physically sick. And then I think of holes on the skin with bugs or seeds and I swear I just sent myself into a panic. This one is awful to have.
I surely am trypophobic! I couldn't not even seen this image for more than few seconds!
I NEVER KNEW ABOUT THIS!! EVEN SHAPES PACKED TOGETHER DISGUST ME!!
Seeing some of the images that are associated with this fear make my skin feel as though it's crawling. I really, really don't like it O.o
Stupid? :D It's too ordered, not really related to the illustration.

I have Pseudo Tumor Celebi..... my brain/nerves, are slowly decorating over time, and they started to affect my speech and words months ago, I stay mute now cause if I try to talk it comes out mixed up or the words will be messed, I used to be able to sing, really good too.... it took that all way...... if I do talk, to like friends, there super careful not to point out how I miss my words, even typing I mess them, you can see how online that can be horrible to someone like that
it’s really depressing that that’s something people have to deal with now. Personally i can go without my phone, but some of my friends will go into a full blown panic attack if they misplace their’s.
Load More Replies...I don't have fear of fish, but I have fear of dogs ;)
Load More Replies...Woah! These are amazing and represent the phobia perfectly... I wonder how long it took for each one, since each day was one per day....
Really cool artwork! I had to look a lot of these phobias up. I have more phobias than I realized. Great work!
I love these depictions of the phobias. He's an amazing artist and the phobias are portrayed really well.
I actually want to have like half of those drawings tattooed. Great work.
Love these! Wonderful artist. I was wating for acrophobia, the fear of heights. Another fear of mine is achondroplasiaphobia, fear of dwarfs, thaks to Disney.
Fear is mostly created by a lack of understanding about a certain thing or situation. Once we can focus on how simple things are the fear will subside and not cause any problems anymore. 😇💜
Uh, I just realized I'm terrified of all these things. Well. Great.
Can anything be a phobia? Fear of going to work, fear of walking, fear of losing weight, fear of winter, summer etc? Fear of being sick, fear of being healthy? There's more to it, it seems.
