It Took This Guy 14 Years And Two Failed Careers To Write This Letter, But He Absolutely Nailed It
James Breakwell is a father of 4 beautiful girls who is known for the funniest parenting tweets, but this time he touched a more serious note. “It took me 14 years to write this letter,” James writes. “Today I finally mailed it.”
Along with it, he included a signed copy of his book. The very first one. The package was mailed to a person that believed in him, that inspired him. We don’t always get to thank the people that deserve it, but James did a damn good job putting everything into words. Grab some tissues and scroll down to read the touching letter below.
Comedy writer James Breakwell touched everyone’s soul recently, but not with a joke
He decided to thank a complete stranger after he “got far enough to fulfill a silent promise”
James’ book is already hitting the shelves
And whether or not it becomes a bestseller
There’s definitely one person who will truly appreciate it
After everything was done, over 35K people liked James tweet, admiring his gesture
The real reason you should compliment people from time to time. Even if you don't think their results are big. Even if they are strangers. Because sometimes even a few words are enough to make someone feel special and help him/her accomplish something greater.
simply put: if you have something nice to say, say it.

A follow up post on whether or not Chris responded or if the book ever reached him would be great! im dying to know his reaction
That's cool, though it seems everyone had to make every single nice gesture they make public knowledge. Wouldn't this moment have been more special had he just kept it a more private correspondence between him and the man he spoke of? That would've been more classy in my opinion. Sometimes I feel the only thing promoting most people these days to do anything heartfelt is knowing they can have an audience for it.
So awesome. And weirdly, Kevin Sussman (blurb at top of book) is my half-niece's ex husband. I wasn't expecting that twist. I've always dug Exploding Unicorn, and one of four girls myself, so, neat!
